I forgot to make my lunch today (realised when I was on the train to work!), so will spend a few quid there. Was planning on buying lunch on Friday for a treat, so will just switch around the days

Am off out to dinner with some friends tonight, so somewhere between £10-20 there. But that's all budgeted for, so it's all good.0 -

You need to buy in an easy solution so that you can quickly grab it before you go - fruit or cereal bars usually do the trick. Or do you have a toaster at work? Come on James240 you can do it
I said yesterday was a no spend day - but at the eleventh hour (about 11.10 pm) I booked and paid for a 60th birthday treat for my mum at a swish hotel that's set me back £90! :embarasse - double what I'd budgeted!
So today will have be a no spend day!0 -
Planning for a no-spender today. I have got a couple of amazon cds to post, but they don't count. Am also going to bank another £20 of £2 coins, so the miffy house will be empty again, and drop in to the Nationwide with our Flexaccount application form. OH filled it out last night, so we should be set - so long as it's organised before we go away, that's pretty much the point. A little bit of me also thinks once I have an account set up away from my current bank I could then chase them for charges ... still haven't done that yet.
Feeling pretty rubbish today too, so that helps with the no spending. I'm working tomorrow and Friday, so hopefully lots of cash coming in and not a lot going out!Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 002 :rotfl:0 -

Can you stash something at work, cereal or something like that?0 -
I didn't have time to post yesterday, but only spent £2 on parking, as I took DD and a friend to a meet the author session a local bookshop. It was Louise Rennison, who writes books very popular with teenage girls! It was absolutely brilliant, and I don't begrudge a penny of the parking fee. We didn't buy any books, because we already have all the ones she has written, and she was very happy to sign one of them. DD very thrilled.
Today, however, will be a different story, as it is my main shopping day, and then I have to go into town and order the currency for DS1's forthcoming trip to China (which I am possibly more excited about than he is!).It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
The plan for today thus far is to stay in and make cards. I'd also like to catch up on some cleaning and do the paid quizzes that arrived in my inbox late last night. I've got food in for tea and can just about manage tomorrow's packed lunch so fingers crossed - no having to go out (unless I watch a dvd rental and take it to the postbox
)
Sorry - this is more of a 'goals for today' post
but all adds up to hopefully a no-spend! Do I Need One Stops All Unnecessary Reckless Spending£2 CSC - £30 :kisses3:0 -
£3-80 on two Lattes (one for me, one for my manager). Need a bottle of water for the gym later so £4-60 today. Won't be spending any more than that though (I hope!) :j0
