Just popping in to say hello  All i've done is s/s and kept up with the washing. My dad's eye hasn't improved so at the moment it's a case of trying to help him do the things he wants to do. Can anyone, therefore, tell me why I went round yesterday to find him strimming the edge of the lawn. I use the word 'edge' vey loosely as he couldn't see the edge of the lawn. He's an inteligent man...what pocessed him!!!!

Pigpen, I really hope you are ok!
greenbee I seen her on one of the morning programmes, never seen that and got it on now in the background, she's so beautiful isn't she, even when she had the weight on such a pretty girl, size 8 she didn't look as good. Definately had the best voice. Oh and have a lovely time cooing over the baby
Toots, to be honest you should be able to get one from the GP/Hospital, I know DPs Grandma got one from there. Sorry something we don't have.
Mudbath, sorry to hear your Dad is no better, as for why, he's male! Caravan, no, we're not weekenders. DP works weekends so we go sun-thursday/friday in school holidays. The couple of weekends we'll be away is when DPs taking weekends off to race. Oh then the seasonal let where I go up on a weekend. I have booked one more 10 night stay over summer where I will stay with the boys while he comes back for work.
Jo fingers crossed for you
I am half way through the kitchenok not all done but half way is a lot in there. I've been rearranging stuff too, I bought a new storage rack for DPs garage and have been allowed ONE shelf....so will be filling that up! I am also sorting things to go back into the caravan, weighing and listing as I go of course.
DP and his brother have gone to collect the WIL, after valeting her car....like she's bloody royalty, not just a pain in the ****.......hmmm, I best not get started on her........
Anyway, had lunch, boiled eggs sandwiches with fresh free range eggs nomnom, right back to the kitchen!!!One day I might be more organised...........

Thanks hun. dd has a peanut allergy, but now she is 5, she has to go into hospital for some controlled testing. It will just give us a better idea of the extent of the allergy. I feel really sorry for dd; at school she can't have school lunches, or sweets or cakes when it is someone's birthday (the school will not risk giving her anything, just in case there are peanuts) I put together a treat box which her teacher keeps, and she is allowed to choose something, when the rest of the class are having a treat. At 5 she does not really understand and she does not like feeling "different" from the rest of her class.
ds is going to see the ENT specialist because he is not hearing very well. The GP seems to think that having gromits put into his ears, will probably solve the problem.... fingers crossed....
and Dad is having one of his kidneys removed. A few weeks ago they found out that dad has cancer. There is a tumor sitting on one of the kidneys; they have also found it in his lungs which is quite worrying. He is going in on Thursday. We live about 2 and a half hours away, which makes it really difficult at times like this. We told Dad that he has to fight this all the way. Our baby is due towards the end of the year, and he has to be here for his 3rd grandchild. In a way it is giving him something to fight for, which can only be a positive.
We sound like a right healthy bunch, with all that, and me with the morning sickness!!
I suppose I had better get on. Now that I have sat down, I don't want to get up again! See you all a bit later :hello: Abbie xxx:smileyheaFlybaby Due 1st December 2009!:smileyhea0 -
