greenbee Well done your mum thats brillliant. Glad you found your gym stuff.
Toots No you are not being unkind at all. Dont think its the time not spent with her. I see her about 3 or 4 times a week. I think maybe she thinks I do too much. I was worried telling her about this extra thing Im doing and it shouldnt be like that. To me its a socialising thing as well. Its strange as I did a vol job as a counsellor for 13 years but didnt get this.
serena Happy birthday to your DD.:bdaycake:

I have juggled cash like mad and after putting money away for DDs clubs for the rest of the month (£8 in total) I have a grand total of..... £8.26 in cash and I will have £14.17 available in the bank (must remember that my mate owes me £20 so I should get that in cash on Tuesday when I go back to work ;) ) so thats £42.43 all told to last me until the 31st  Thats AFTER I've paid the bills ;) Storecupboard/Grocery challenge anyone? :o:rotfl:

Flying wise... I was going to put the washing out that was still damp when I brought it in last night, but the wind is too strong and I fear it would blow away so its time to get the maidens out since its so chilly here I'll be putting the fire on in a minute. Annoyingly todays wash loads were to be jeans and towels which dry much quicker when they've been put outside

Right, I might as well do some washing up, put the washing on the maidens and then start studying at 11...then I can define a full hour easily on the clock. Laters

    Morning all!

    Happy belated birthday to Triker.
Hugs to Froddy and anyone else going through it all at the moment.
Good luck to rach for the job interview.
    Happy Birthday to DD Serena.
Leg is not hurting much any more Jo but still looks awful. Glad to hear that you are finding things a bit easier, and don't worry about losing weight as others have mentioned - if anything I seem to be putting on since going to the gym, but I know I'm losing inches as my body is changing shape.
How are you feeling Toots? - I've missed you in the last few days I've not been online.
Hope you are feeling a bit better too LadyL. If you need me to pick anything up for you, or just fancy a chat to take your mind off things, let me know and I'll pop over if you're feeling up to it. BTW, if I do come over, please don't feel that there is any need to get changed out of your PJs or entertain - I am quite happy to come round and you can stay under the duvet on your sofa if you like. If you are interested, I've just finished reading the magazines that greenbee so kindly gave me on Natural Health, and I could bring these along for you if you like - there's some really interesting stuff in them.

Toots I was feeling a bit sorry for myself yesterday, as I had a message on my phone from the agency saying that 2 bookings I had coming up for the class with willy boy in had been cancelled and they'd asked for me to be replaced as they thought it best that I don't teach that class again under the circumstances! In a way I'm happy that I don't have to go back to them, cos they were a nightmare to teach, but also feel like they are saying that it was my fault! The agency have said that they'll try to find me something to replace them, but I really enjoyed teaching their Year 2 classes and now worry I won't be asked back again.

Body combat didn't happen in the end on Wednesday night, as I got stuck at our train gates and the person who got to the counter ahead of me got the last token, so I went for a swim instead. Probably not a bad thing though as I ached quite a lot from the previous night, and was also quite tired after all of the rushing around.

My ex neighbour who had the baby in April is coming over this afternoon after work to introduce her daughter to us - I'm really looking forward to it as I haven't seen her or the baby since she gave birth. Need to go and tidy the living room and kitchen and do the kitchen and the rest of the lists as I have work this avo, so won't have time to do it then.

    Anyone fancy a HHC 11-11.30?

Sorry to have been a moaning mini.
Good to see you back oddjob - you've been missed.

    sexymouse xx

we had a great day ystd with ds's birthday!
picked the kids up from nursery and he had to wait in the lounge while we went for cover around the table - we called him in and we shouted 'surprise!!: - he stood there with a big grin :D
then cake and presents - and he was especially happy with the swing we've put in our garden :T - that should get them outside more ;)

then we've got a phone call from estate agent to arrange a viewing for today 2pm - so dh is up, kids are at nursery and we are cleaning the whole house again

dw is on, dh fixed the coffeetable, lounge is tidy, playroom is tidy, pc desk is tidy, polished dining table

so next i'll sort out upstairs, vacuum downstairs + mop where needed, finish kitchen, clean bathroom, utility room, windows with sticky prints

Just remembered something I've been meaning to ask for a few days now. I need help -
Anyone know where I can buy rubber gloves for DD to use when washing up? Small ones (6.5-7) are still too big for her.
she loves washing up but she would like some to wear so the water can be a little hotter and she can be just like me then apparently :rotfl: Also it would means she'd be able to help me with more jobs around the house that I wear gloves for. ;) She's been asking for a while now and I keep forgetting to ask :o

    Thanks all. :D

Here's the rain... glad I didn't put the washing out now! :rotfl:

Been to the gym - didn't do any running, although I think I probably should be OK to run soon. Did lots more stretching... and have now had boxing added into my Friday workouts (possibly because i haven't lost any weight AGAIN!!). I really must make sure I do some CV over the weekend.

Have also returned a whole lot of coat hangers to the dry-cleaner, filled up with petrol, been to the farm shop and eaten breakfast. I put some laundry on before I left this morning, but I can't decide whether to put it out or not...

For those trying to lose weight, try this for inspiration! If you can stick to 1500 calories a day and 1.5 hours of serious exercise 6 days a week it makes a real difference!

Right... where's my list? I just need to locate it before I change and set off to visit my friend and her baby.

    ETA - found it:

    Level Two

    Level One
    Level Two
    Wash the windows
    Level Three
    HHI
Wash any soft furnishings that need doing
    Clear the pc desk

    Extras
    1. Sort out your coat pockets and handbag
    2. Scrub the radiators
    3. Wash the paintwork
    4. Deweb and dust and demould these rooms!
    Friday - catch-up
    Level 1
