Afternoon everyone!
Hope you are all okay, and my thoughts are with those who are having a rough time at the moment.
I hope PigPen is okay.

I've been fettling since I got home from work at lunchtime - done kids bedding (they do their own rooms) & cleaned the dust up from last nights rubbing down of the door-frames. I've also got the BM on & will have a general clean round all the rooms when I've posted this.
So can i have a star for today please Toots??

Have washed up and thrown out assorted bottles/packets/bits of packaging/bits of fruit that DH had left strewn around the kitchen. It looks a lot better now!

I've done all sorts of odds and ends that were hanging about, and also DD's room today. Just the bathroom to do sometime tomorrow.

DD says thank you for all the birthday wishes. She had a brilliant time on her first driving lesson, and has booked for next Thursday. Just off now to open presents as she's waited patiently all day until everyone was home! We're out at the very nioce Chinese restaurant tonight.

Love and hugs, especially for toottifrootti, and abbie and also pigpen, just in case you might need one.

Oh dear...my facial has been cancelled for tonight because the beautician has gone home sick. Nevermind. Still going for dinner with the girls though so that'll be good and will rebook the facial probably for the week next so it'll be a nice treat after doing the 10K run.

DD2 has been grouchy all day...really whingy and with a runny nose so she's probably coming down with something. Managed to keep her occupied in TK Maxx with a bag of crisps while I looked for a top to wear tonight. Didn't find one but did see a pair of lovely pink slingback shoes. Very nearly bought them but at the last minute changed my mind as I didn't really need them and came in for a top, not shoes. Very impressed with myself as I even got as far as the till.

Best do a bit of flying in the lounge and the kitchen before DH comes home...it looks a bit of a tip. Will make a plan:

1. empty and refill DW
2. put tea in oven
3. clear and wipe surfaces
4. tidy floor and sofas in lounge
5. run my bath...have decided I am off duty when DH walks through the door...he just doesn't know it yet!

Hi all, just to reassure you all Pigpen is ok, she's up to her eyeballs in assignments and has hurt her back so can't move much....:p no star jumps for her methinks.:D

Hopefully she'll be online later.

I'm now stuck reading this thread...and reading bits out to DD :rotfl::rotfl: Tea can wait can't it?
