Greenbee you don't sound like a woman for whom any job was beyond her capabilities.

Jo ((hugs)) I've gone out with someone at work and then had to work with him and the woman he had an "affair" with and then spectacularly dumped me for. Not fun working with them both, or going to work socials, but...prompted me to apply for promotion which was a really great reason to go elsewhere to work. Now I'm delighted she has him!

DD has had a go at ironing :D She said it was exciting :rotfl: She'll grow tired of that once I'm confident she can do it herself without me holding on with a pinch to the iron and let her do it ;):rotfl::rotfl: She's done 2 tea towels on her own and I've shown her how to do her Brownie uniform and school blouses :D:rotfl: She's also done the washing up tonight so thats £1 pocket money she's earnt, only another £5.50 maximum for her to earn this week through chores :D BTW I'm not mad, I'm including the cost of her Brownies & after school club in with that pocket money ;)

BNest go do the trouser and chase her to get washed.... ;)

    Evening all

Another 5 hrs OT in the bag ;) should all be paid this month as well wooohoooo. Keeping fingers crossed they have put time and a half down for me instead of just time. Was a bit annoyed today though as there was not enough time for me to pack the till up properly as I would have been late for W depsite me telling them when I arrived that I had to be leaving at 2.30 on the dot. Anyways I left them looking for a cash error  which turned out not to be an error, rushing to balance the till meant I miscounted some of the cash. They rang to say it was ok so all's well. Next time they will give me enough time to pack up myself :p

Done some sorting of washing since I got in and only have a small pile of ironing to do which I am hoping to do tonight.

Dinner cooking now and thread all caugt up, apologies for no individual mentions, have a hug all round.
