toots hope you feel better in the morning, you 'sound' tired.
jackywhizz, oh heck, I hope you are ok, you're right items can be replaced but it's still an awful feeling ((hugs))
Soappie well done on resisting rubbing!

Thanks for the get well soon messages, problem is I've had this since before Easter hence it's annoying me now, DS1s picked it up too (DS2 already had it) so we're all keeping DP awake (awww poor him) who so far doesn't have it. DS2 did however have this sort of cough for a few days then the whole thing started clearing up a bit better (he's still got a runny nose) so maybe this is the 'end' of it. At least we've had it since before swine flu started however DS1 having autism took some convincing, I still think he's got his doubts.

Well so far not too bad, still not finished the list but since last post I have

    Washer load x 1
Dishwasher load x 1 and emptied
Cooked chicken dinner - ok well the chicken was cooked but did yorkshires, potatoes veg etc will reheat mine and DPs later but kids fed
Fed the dog - shouldn't have given him chicken as he's thrown his biscuits all over the floor grr!!
Binned some rubbish which then added to
Sorted through some paperwork should equal my 29 fling
Looked through my eCMA - now just half left to do
Had half an hour ish sat down
    Wiped cushions

DSs sent to bed, going to have a little 'quiet' time then plod on. Got meeting tomorrow (if I am better, don't want to be coughing all over people) so thinking best get things done while I can.
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

This really made me laugh. I am from slightly further North than there originally, but hopefully wont find too many Fifer's where I am now!

We were always fine working together, the only problem is now that we have split up - and the situation which has followed.

Froddy - I think you are right. I think Id been bottling it all up and I probably would have been fine and been able to get on if he hadnt contacted me. When i started crying there was no real stopping. It was a bit of a mess and im quite embarrassed now thinking about it!

Because he feels the need to keep calling me, I havent been able to get on with things. Hes promised to stop calling, Ive lost my temper and told him exactly what i think of him in no uncertain terms. Probably not very dignified, but it needed to be said.

Anyway, I have dismantled the phone that he has the number for and hopefully that is now the end of it. Since I now dont have to go into the office first thing, Im gonna go and do an aerobics class at 10am. I may even go for a swim after and would still have time to get ready before my meeting at 2.30pm.

But I have actually do have flying to report!!!! Ive done the living room windows and dusted. Have also done WM and TD. Dishes are in the sink......will go and do them now while its the adverts on Gok's!

Thanks again to all and hugs to everyone xx

Toots - sorry you're not feeling great. Hope you've had a nice early night and don't forget to relax. You had a busy day, and you really do need to rest!

jackywhizz - its a horrible thing to happen, but you're right, it can all be replaced. Thank goodness you didn't disturb them and no one was hurt.

soappie - I think you'll find sorting out a handbag was on today's list... obviously you should have done that before you left for work ;) then you'd have had your cash & cards with you :p Hope you sort it out tomorrow. And of COURSE I got my act together after toots pointed out I was slacking...

Went to the gym, had a gentle walk on the treadmill and did some stretching. My pyriformis muscle is having some kind of strop, and my hips are now out of alignment... the person who checked me out today is going to leave a message for the trainer I'm seeing tomorrow. I'm not looking foward to it - it usually involves them using an elbow to get to the muscle, which is deep in the buttock... so I'll have a bruised bum tomorrow!

I'm just eating, and then I'll dig out my tens machine and try that for an hour or so (its set off muscle spasms all down one side of my back, which I should be able to stop), then have an epsom salt bath and another early night!
  • Evening everyone,

I've just woken up ! Didn't sleep at all last night because i was being a soppy sod and worrying about bubs' op today and was pretty near useless at work today so took a few of my hours owing and came home early. The vet knew i was worried (so much so that he said he worried about when i have kids if i was this worried about my puppy :o) so he operated on her first and i collected her at 4 - we snuggled up on the sofa when we got in and i was woken literally 10 minutes ago by mum because i would've been awake all night again if i'd slept any longer!

Hope everyone is feeling well or at least better today! Off to find my list and catch up with you all.......

Ahhh, but Greenbee, I ain't a girly girl so I don't really do handbags. I have a work bag (which is like a gladstone bag) a veritable mobile office with all sorts in it (included stapler, ruler, pens, pencils etc.) and a wee tiny zip up thing that cards and cash live in during the week. At weekends, the cards and cash come out and live in trouser pockets :o I forgot to do the trouser pocket transfer this morning.

I have my excuses for trouser pockets - it's when I worked in London. I didn't want to carry a handbag around in case it got knicked, so everything ended up in (smart) trouser pockets covered by a coat....

Hope your back comes out of spasm soon - I know how painful that can be.

Thanks for the HHC Kazm - I put the TD on, washed all the dishes and cleaned the microwave inside and out - more than I would have done as I was just thinking that I couldn't be bothered to do anything and the dishes would have been left until tomorrow.

Jackywhizz - hugs - pleased that no-one was hurt and everything is replaceable.

Daydream - glad pup is ok and has forgiven you!

Jo - you'll be fine - just think of us all behind you growling at your ex - you'll be too busy laughing to think you should be upset!

Greenbee - hope that eases soon.
