All customer services is getting outsourced to the Phillipines etc, with a tiny bit of customer services remaining in the UK T-Mobile owned call centres, and the depts where they want to sell stuff ie sales / retentions will largely remain in the UK.

So I'm no longer working for them (got a new job rather than hang around to be paid off) so my knowledge will be a bit rusty now lol!

Just to be clear.... prepay customer services are going there. Contract is still in UK, with overflow going overseas. There are very large sites still in Wales, North East (near Newcastle) and Scotland still going on.

I dont know all the third party sites, just the T-Mobile ones. Doxford near Newcastle is still there and quite large. Merthyl Tydfil in Wales still going strong. As is the Greenock one you said in Scotland. They are all CS.

    name one european country.

    only one?

    Netherlands - Vodafone, T-mobile, KPN
Germany - T-mobile, Vodafone, O2 (Telefonica), eplus (KPN)
    Slovakia - T-mobile, Orange, O2
    Czech Republic - T-mobile, O2, Vodafone
Hungary - Pannon (Telenor), T-mobile, Vodafone
Spain (except Euskadi (Basque)) - Movistar (Telefonica), Orange, Vodafone, Yoigo (TeliaSonera)
    Sweden - Telia (TeliaSonera), Tele2, Telenor, 3

    and others

You might be tempted to dismiss for example TeliaSonera and Telenor as insignificant, but they each have more mobile customers than Orange or T-mobile
