T-mobile UK in financial trouble?
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/05/01/t_mobile_abandoning_blighty/
Looks like Deutsche Telekom aint too pleased that T-mobile UK dragged them into a profit warning. Plus two former share holders woudnt mind seeing them pull out of the UK market and into the US market.

Orange or three are the two rumour links for merger/buy-out ... who's betting on who?
Bring back the "One2One" brand.0 -
Id say Orange, Or a supprise buyout from Vodafone.0

Any chance of my recently opened t-mobile account being cancelled on the grounds the provider is being sold or merged with someone else - COUGH - spilt my tea now!
Not sure vodafone would want it - I personally would prefer merger with Three and ........ yes bring back "One2One".0 -
Hah, Yeah if it did happen im taking bets there will be atleast 15 posts about wanting to cancel due to takeover *goes to William Hill to place bet*0

Just wondering, what will happen to carriers who piggyback on t-mobile, like Virgin?
What is t-mobiles customer service like anyway? If 3 buys/merges with them, will it be like t-mobiles CS?0 -
CS is now based in the Philippines, Used to be based mostly around Scotland/North England, But the Outsource company lost the contract.0
-
Virgin will just continue as normal with whoever takes over. They just use the t-mobile network so could negotiate a new deal or something maybe.
Thought I heard a rumour that t-mobile customer services was being offshored - no source - I just recall reading something a few weeks back. So guess if it went with 3 it would be in India.0 -

They all have 90 days notice, Which comes to an end in May sometime.0 -
Tmobile is already in the US market, even though they are the smallest of all the 4 major carriers. On the US boards, it's being speculated that they may try to purchase/merge with SprintPCS or so in order to give AT&T more competition.Looks like Deutsche Telekom aint too pleased that T-mobile UK dragged them into a profit warning.
