Hi littlemrtinkle:hello:. I'm really bad at remember what i've spent and since being debt free i've got back into that bad habit of not checking prices, especially in the supermarket, so need to sort myself out as i know i'm wasting money.
Weather is miserable again here, kiddies did'nt go outside yesterday and boy did i know about they were wild, today they will get dressed:o and put coats, wellies on and play outside, rain will not kill you, but i might (only joking).
Have done scratchcards and won 40p this morning and 2 more onepoll surveys nearly at £30, might have £40 by the end of the summer:rolleyes:.
Hubby is off work for 4 days, but is taking ds fishing tommorrow, so i have lots of jobs lined up for him today not that he knows yet, he is still in bed might have to go and make kids brekkie and i won't make any noise honest, would'nt want to wake him;).
Washer is fab, slightly noiser than last one, but is much quicker at washing and i can choose what spin i want which is great.
Today i must
Get all washing done
Ironing (think i will leave ironing board out in dining room and as each load dries iron it there and then)
post readit swapit book
deep clean kitchen:eek:
do every survey that hit inbox (including ciao:rolleyes:)0 -
:DThank goodness its payday so i know have £405 to play with or should i say did have:rolleyes:.
This morning i have spent £113 on a Tesco order to be delivered tommorow, lots of meat and i'm hoping that this will do us most of the month and i will only need fruit, veg and milk.
This morning took DD into town to have hair cut that cost £5 then i bought some make up £6.49, book for daughter £1.99, drink and toasted teacakes in cafe £6, hairbrush and bobbles/clips £10.50:eek:
so total spent so far is £142.98:eek: in one morning.
Also had phone call from friend this morning did i fancy going out tonight, thought about for all of 2 seconds and said when am i not up for a night out, hubbie has taken ds camping for the weekend and dd deciced to go to grannies as she would be lonely on her own, what about mummy on her own. So as i was staying in with only simon and piers for company i thought what the hell, so i'm going to use the £40 i did'nt spend on groceries last month (yes will spend this much as need to get taxi home ) and was very good in town and did'nt buy any of the new lovely clothes that were in the shops.
won £1.20 on scratchcards today, no surveys today really slow for them at the moment and quidco still hav'nt paid out £30 that there supposed to this month:mad:.
Most put petrol in car tommorrow as its bleeping at me.0 -
Have put petrol in car £20 and checked online balance and this months tax credits have hit account so have transfered £120.17p wanted a nice round figure in savings so thats why an odd amount has been transfered.
Tesco order came yesterday £100.88p was the grand total little less than originally thought did'nt have a couple of things i ordered.
Hope everyone has had a fab weekend and enjoyed the weather.0 -
Morning and what a wonderfully sunny one it is, shame i'm at work all day. Ended up going into town yesterday and spent £17.21 in total only went into home bargains for cat food and ended up spending a tenner on bargain bits, but its all stuff that will get used.
Have £141 in bank this needs to last 2 weeks but hoping that i've nothing major to buy in that time so should be ok.
Still waiting for Quidco money to hit account so i can transfer to ISA, have finally got to the 2000 points with H of R surveys so have withdrawn so should get a cheque for £20 some time soon!
Scratchcard money is building slowly but not fast enough.
Hope everyone has a fab day0 -
Hope everythink ok not had an update for a few days have you got your quidco money through yet mine came all of £2.24!0
-
Morning Cocalls.
Had a really busy week and hav'nt updated sorry.
£33 has gone in from quidco and have put this into Isa.
been doing surveys and scratchcards and have had £6 paid into paypal from some surveys leaving that there for now see if i can build it up abit, i'm thinking if i can't see it i can't spend it.
Bank account is down to £84 pound as i have paid for school photos and a school trip for dd.
Been very good and hav'nt entered Tesco's this week but will need to go probably monday for fruit, bread and bits for packed lunches.
I was naughty last night and cound'nt be bothered cooking had had one of those days at work so we had fish and chips for tea, but it was a very yummy treat, but i was good and did'nt buy a bottle of wine i pinched one of hubbies beers that we already had in.0 -
Ok have started to dig out the kitchen and have cleaned out fridge and done a meal plan.
Sat-sweet and sour chicken and noodles
Sun-Lamb cobbler or sheperds pie & veg (will see what hubby wants)
Mon-Jkt spuds beans and cheese
Tue- Fish portion chips and peas
Wed-Stk pie, roast pots and veg
Thur Chicken korma and rice
Fri- sausage egg mushrooms tomatoes and hash browns
Have made a I don't like it traybake this morning (basically all the biscuits, cereals choc bars that the kids insist they don't like anymore, chop up, mix with melted choc and left to set);).
Found loads of bags of chopped up mushrooms in the freezer so have stuck them in a pan and will turn it into cream of mushroom soup:D.
Packed lunches this week will either be cheese, tuna or egg sandwiches,
found some chicken drumsticks in freezer so these can be cooked off for lunches as well, found a bag of apples lurking in the back of the fride so fruit wise i have apples orange, dried fruit and i also have some tinned peaches and a tin of fruit cocktail that the kiddies could taake little tubs of. lots of ritz crackers as well that ned eating so they can take these instead of crisps, so i'm thinking sandwich, a few crackers, fruit and a biscuit or piece of cake, could be healthier but should be ok for just 1 week.
so should only need bread, cooking oil, carrots and tomatoes this week, well heres hopeing:rolleyes:.0 -
Well the traybake went down a storm and hubby had a chuckle when ds said this is the best cake ever;).
95p this morning on scratch cards, adding up slowly.
DD has had pony club this morning so thats me £20:eek: lighter for the pleasure, oh well she does love it.
Going to withdraw £20 tommorow after work and go shopping this is all i'm spending in Tesco this week, but will also need to pay milkman tommorow this is usually around £13 a fortnight for milk, eggs, orange juice, cream etc.
Also going to need petrol soon hoping it will last me the week i have about 1/4 of a tank need to go to work everyday which is 1 1/2 miles there and back i could walk on wed and thurs if the weather is fine as i'm on half days and don't need to rush back to pick children from school, maybe that should be my aim to walk to and back from work 2 days a week, it would do my waistline some good as well.0 -
