I use a program called Auction Sentry

    http://www.auction-sentry.com/

An excellent tool 10 days free trial and only $14.95 to Buy a lifetime license with free updates every time eBay changes something. It keeps full history of all you bids won or lost and best of all, the information is held locally on your hard disc and no one else can keep tabs on your purchases like some online systems.
  • Hi,

This is my first post too!!

I was recommended to use ths tool

    http://hammertap.auctionstealer.com/home.cfm

I have used it once and was fine, a friend recommended it as she uses it all the time and it's FREE!!

I use justsnipe and have never been let down.

5 snipes for me and 5 for other half per week free of charge is ample for us.

    Quick question:

if 2 people 'snipe' head to head on an item - what would happen?

I suppose that the person who had the largest max. bid would win - but would one bit of software outperform the other???

that would depend on the number of seconds the snipe takes place and on the connectivity and would probably at microsecond level of chance.

I have used EZ Sniper for its free snipes and it was excellent. You get 3 free snipes when you sign up and unlike most others that is 3 free successful snipes so if you don't win the item you still have your free shot to use on another auction.

can anyone help - I was just about to register for justsnipe but I see they want to capture your Ebay password and userid - do they all work this way ? I would have thought this was like giving someone a pin number to your bank card.

As far as I'm aware yes, if they don't have your id and password how else can they bid as you. Just make sure its a reputable established sniper site.

Hi, BidNip is the best one I have used and they are cheap. You get five snipes when you join and if your mates join using your email address link you get more free snipes. eSnipe were one of the first but thay charge $1.00 each snipe on eBay UK.
