Good morning everybody :hello:
Had 4 glasses of cava last night with DH, very pleasant, feeling fine and energetic today. I think the kudzu helped me to know when I had had enough ... :T Doing some more boring project this am then I'd better plant out the 18 geraniums I ordered from sunday paper which arrived a few days ago and are sitting sadly on the kitchen windowledge desperately wanting to be planted out.
DD2 and I were thinking about what business I could start up in place of this brain numbingly boring freelance work- lots of teenager type ideas, I'll check them out when I finish this next project. Keeps me going anyway ...
Have a lovely day everyone. Sun shining here ...Total AFD's May-December 2009: 178 ie 73% of total days (245 days)

Lets brainstorm when you get this bit finished!
I am writing about 'abiotic influences on SRC willow' this am if that makes you feel any better. (what munches it, smits it with a disease or generally thinks hmmm you look tasty'
Ie what things that are alive and kicking interfere with my willow.
When or if I ever manage to escape this process - I am going to write my own idiots guide to a phd - to cut the carp.
And an idiots guide to growing willow for energy
'Growing wood on islands for dummies.....the wind and the willows - a windswept account of tree growing for the tenacious islander '

Morning everyone, I'm back after a bit of a break on the thread.
Still on 11AFD after shared a bottle of red with OH on Fri night after all but AF yesterday. My god how boring was last night with that bloomin contest on and 42 countries scoring.
Despite feeling p****ed off didn't open a bottle of wine post 8pm even tho' felt v.tempted.
Caught up today with the comings and goings of the ABBA tribute band, hohoho! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: When is your first gig? You sound word perfect! Dadadada, dadadada, tumtumtumtum tumtumtumtum, how many miles to go?
Jo I hope you are ok hun whatever has happend my dear? You take care of yourself and don't worry about any pressure being exerted on here, it isn't. Just do what you need for now and come back later to let us know how you are. We all care about our virtual friends so much :A and if it our time to offer support to those in need we will do as has been offered to us.
Budgie, thanks for asking about my friend. She is coping just about ~I saw her on Fri and gave her the card and said goodbye for now. Wanted to know I am thinking about her at this time and she knows that now. Has made me feel low as a result, probably why I drank half a bottle of red wine of Fri, to knock myself out later on.
My app form has ground to a halt and moved to the bottom of the priority pile for now which is not that great. The fear of change eh?
Onwards and upwards for now try and cheer myself up today. The house is a mess and I desparately need to do some gardening (that will cheer me up) I hope the weather holds today for this.
~I realised yesterday I couldn't remember the last time I thought I looked nice/good/attractive in something I wore. I barely look at myself in the mirror apart from to put make up on and criticise. The Heal Your Life book has made me realise this. Feels like I have a lot of work to do to make me feel better in the long term. All the changes I have made over the last 6mths now feel they have been the foundation for further changes I need to make. I've tried to make them before and have not succeeded longer term, I think I needed to change some other things in my life first, should be successful this time.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Morning everyone
PIR, yes the kudzu does help you drink in moderation as well as helping you to have AF days too
Have a good Sunday everyone. I am going to have a very lazy pyjama day trawling through old photo albums and scanning the best to keep on my pc to use for craft projectsI also plan on embarrassing my kids with some of them :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Whoever thought big hair in the 80's was a good idea should be shot - whatever did I think I was doing??:rotfl::eek:0
