    Hi everyone!!

Wow so much to catch up on just a quick post before i go off to work hope everyone is ok.

I can be put down for 10 AF days as i'm working till midnight so no drink there. Despite the temptation i really really felt friday. I even woke up a 2am with a ridiculous headache and really wanted to just give up and open the beer and say there you can have a drink. But instead i drank two glasses of water went back to bed and woke up feeling really proud.

Yesterday i spent the day having lunch in the pub and drank diet coke so i was really pleased that i had the will power and support to do that.

Any way in order to better myself for may i am working on spending less and paying more off debts. Got my credit file yesterday scary stuff but not as bad as i thought.

    Aim for today:
Eat huge yummy breakfast to keep me going through work.
Paint toe nails blue before work.
    Drink more water.

You know, I have never been part of an online group before! The only one I have ever looked at was on this site to find out when Boots 75% sale was starting:j

I am finding this support amazing. I had my planned wine treat last night (Sb's Cava), but literally only had half as much as I would have done. So feeling great today, and still on target to get my 24 AFDs this month. Mr PIR is also cutting down slightly, due to my influence (I haven't told him about you guys, you are my secret support :A).

Have a lovely day - still working on project while DDs sleeping, then a bit of tennis this pm.
    Total AFD's May-December 2009: 178 ie 73% of total days (245 days)

    Morning everyone:hello:

Its a lovely sunny Sunday here :j Lets hope that it continues.

Very , very nearly gave in to the wine bells last night . Infact i even asked my DH to get me some when he was going to the supermarket but fortunately I changed my mind at the last minute. Phew that was close:naughty::naughty: . I think it was all the cleaning I did yesterday . The state of my bedroom was enough to drive anyone to drink:rotfl:. BB I think you had similar problems after your cleaning sprint last week ,

Anyway I survived another AFD so thats now 9 in total :j:j

    Welcome to all newbies .

    Have a lovely day everyone

  • Hi 40SM

Yup, it's great - not doing as well as you :T but much better than I was. I don't think I could ever be completely AF, but to have cut down drastically like this is making me feel very happy :j

Have a good day with your little boys!

Yay! A Sunny Sunday with no hangover:T.

Kellylea - where on earth do you work that keeps you there til midnight:confused: - and allows blue toenails:rotfl:
Fay - thanks for all your gardening advice. Iwas a self-employed gardener for a while and absolutely loved being out in the fresh air all day. One of my clients had a 200' shrub border, a 50' rose garden and a traditional herb garden to die for..... and as for her greenhouses! (will PM you later x)

40mum - now we have sold our house (and found one to buy yesterday:T) I expect the next few weeks will be one big clear up/out. Hope it doesn't drive me back to drink:rotfl:

    openscreen - WELCOME:j

Wow, can't believe what a good nights sleep I had - 10 hours straight without waking up for a drink of water! Am looking forward to a lazy Sunday. I think I have mentioned before that in this house Sunday is always a day of rest. Nothing planned except pottering in the garden. I have loads of tomato plants and vegetable seedlings to plant out, but will pot them all on in bigger pots so that I can take them with me to the new house. I am gutted to have to leave my vegetable beds especially as they are looking better this year than they have ever done!

If this glorious weather holds, we will fire up the barbie later. No alcohol though as there is none in the house and my rule is 'no shopping' on a Sunday.

Have a good day everyone - will report in for duty this evening.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Last night I drank most of a bottle of white wine. I just fancied a drink and decided to have a drinking evening. Funny thing is how the full moon seems to be a trigger for me now. I often feel different at this time (not a werewolf!).

Last month I don't think I gave in to alcohol but it was a close thing. Yesterday I allowed myself it was ok.

Feel ok today, no hangover (thankfully!) and a little more groggy than usual.

Bought Boots own make Berroca yesterday on 3 for 2 and have 45 effervesant tablets now for £7 to give my immune system a boost over the next month :D

There are a couple of glasses of wine left in the bottle which I will freeze in a bit and use in cooking. I don't want to do what I usually do with left overs and drink them at teatime and then have 2 alcohol days.

Fay you sound a fantastically funny lady! I love the random posts! :D

Everyone else - hope you are ok and doing as you want to do.

Today is another day (cloudy) and my moon feelings seem to have passed today :D

Morning all - Morning FUAS - full moons bohter me too :)

I don't mean to post random things - it just sort of tumbles out of my brain. (Whoops)

Welcome Openscreen - took alot of us a while to post - so we know how scary it is.

Sleeping - I do find that hard - especially when AF - but have taken to going to bed anyway and reading or taking laptop (naughty I know). Seems to help. Glad you posted and hope you get some more advice from the others.

LB - ignore my garden twitter - but the garden you talked about sounds gorgeous - we have about 1-2 acres here (I can't work it out I am a girl and therefore spacially unaware) I am looking after the place for a chum who moved south and wanted garden maintained. First time I have ever had a glass house and a conservatory of my own. :)

Waves to the rest of you - blinding headache this am - and so thirsty again - wondering what on earth is up.

Scales teetering between 9 4 and 9 5 so I am hoping anohter lb is on its way out. It be lovely to be under 9st again (wistful look in eye!) whilst that sounds outrageous to most folks I am the size of a gnat so any weight gain for me looks like tonnes.

    40SM enjoy day with boys

The rest of you I hope you find something fun to do today.

9 for me - won't be drinking tonight - big deadline and meeting on Tuesday so I am confined to writing today/tonight/tomorrow :)

So tomorrow I will be in double figures - 10 whole days - oh my word.

Waves to the master scorer - not managed yoga yet BB - sorry work is just too scary at the moment :)

I am contemplating making one of our spare rooms a study for me (how decadent would that be to have a room to actually work in) so that might be me being kind to myself??? I normally move between wherever is least noisy. I work hard - the other spare room looks over the garden - maybe I do need to be naughty and take it over????

Ramble over back to the writing :)
PS K - well done on the blue toes - I have purple sparkly toenails under rainbow stripey socks so they are wasted really.
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
    minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
    :money:Sleeves up folks.:money:
