  • Hi All

2AFD so far so v. pleased
bells ringing v. loudly with 2 bottles in the press !!

Normally on thurs night my men go cycling and I sit down with a few glasses of wine and a book . Had cup of tea and some cookies , then did ironing while watching an old episode of Only Fools and Horses which I really enjoy .
Felling much happier and more in control ( this is my 3afd this week )
I hate when the house and finances get in a mess , so my plan is to use some of the drinking time to set these to rights and the rest to do nice things
Plan on having some wine tonight but half of what I normally would
    enjoy the weekend

I haven't been AF so far but I may be today. I will see and report back later. Watching the tennis every day isn't helping.:D I should make myself a AF cocktail with ice instead.

It is too hot, it has rained here but it feels like we need a thunderstorm. I'm going to London tonight and I am not looking forward to the tube journey in this heat.

Hiya all, it is lashing it down here at the moment, hope it clears the air a bit and dries up in time for my family visit this weekend (though not holding out much hope and already canned the barbecue plans)

Do you ever find, stuff just all seems to happen at once? the day before yesterday I received a letter and phone call from my bank and basically someone has ripped off my bank account to the tune of £1500  before a stop was put on (got hold of my details somehow online) the bank says it will get sorted but it is horrible as i am going to be going over my limit and possibly having direct debits rejected  so now I have to go through the rigmarol (sp?) of getting some forms through and going to a branch to check my statement and tell them the stuff that isn't me....(I can't access my account online as it has been blocked )

Now today my washing machine has gone caput  as dh just said 'it never rains eh' very apt!!!

Hope you are all having a better day

    xx

Same thing happened to me on Monday, got a call from the fraud department, someone had attempted to buy something from Misco for £498, 'luckily' I don't have money in there (would have on Tuesday as it was payday ), they did manage to get £7.40 cash out though?? I have no idea how as I still have my bank card  You've just reminded me about it, better ring them now...

I hope it gets sorted soon x

Hi xx_Jo_xx, welcome aboard the madness wagon!

We're not scary or nasty on here, lots of fun and help and support. Oh where are my manners?? Welcome to all the newbies too, seems like you have all settled in no probs!

Hi everyone else, I've not been on here that much this week due to lots going on in my head. Drank some wine last night so I am still on 1 AFD but due to my usual wine headache that has reappeared again it won't take long to get back on the AF wagon. Not AF tonight but will be after this.

    Hope everyone else is ok??

BHB, don't fall off the wagon long term now matey!

Lurkio - Happy Birthday for the other day! Hope you had a good day!

40sm - forgot to say thanks for scoring last month

Jo - hope the scoring is going ok for you and not too tiresome or stress inducing. Did your OH enjoy Glastonbury? It looked great what I saw on TV

Well that's all for now, see you all later!
