That sounds like a fantastic way to start the weekend, you know, those 2 days that you don't have to work and you can relax and enjoy yourself.....

I'm off to the school now to help orchestrate the summer fair, my arms are still killing me from moving all the tables out onto the field last night, feel like I've been run over by a truck today.....roll on tonight when the months of planning and hard work is all over.....and we can start organising the next one :rotfl:

Please keep your fingers crossed for nice weather, not to hot and no rain plus that we make loads and loads of money for the school! :)

Enjoy your run, you complete nutter :D

    xx

  • And I'm off to play my Saturday morning tennis, if the rain holds off. :j

'Enjoy' the school fair, Jo. I used to do face painting at the primary school summer fun days - some of the really little ones were just sooooo cute and soooooo good while their faces were being painted! Always pretty stressful though, huge queues, and hoping your effort is acceptable to overbearing parent ...

    Glad we're back online :T

You're all a bit nuts

Yes hopefully we will deal with 'crowd' management a little better this year, had a few disgruntled parents last year moaning about the queueing (sp???) system on the bouncy castles, this has been ironed out

    I hope

Hello all walks in sheepishly to tell of falling off wagon.

I got one can wine, and 1 bottle cava.

Drank half the can of wine, didn't want it - made me feel all groggy and yukky headed

Gave the cava to my neighour this am to say ta for doing the hens

So I sort of fell of the wagon for a 'peedie blink'. (orcadian :- peedie blink=a short time)

Crappy day at work, my dyslexia has been cited as a reason to not continue me on my programme - they are working out a new work programme for me.

Hey ho no doctor of flowers for me!

Thanks for all the lovely support :)

Waves to you all off to read - whats all this about tennis???

Oh Fay, poor you, it must have been shattering news. You deserve your peedie blink and it was barely a mouthful (not saying you've got a big mouth or anything). Presumably it was the dyslexia that was to blame for their comments about the quality of writing. How was it diagnosed and what do they mean by a new programme?

That's not so much 'falling off' the wagon as 'dangling one leg over the side'. ;)

Don't worry about it, Fay. :)
