    Morning.

Fay, I fell off the wagon as well, I'd hardly even got on it....
I just wanted to get completely blasted and I did, I'm not very proud of it this morning, I've been doing this for so long now it's stupid.

Jo, I went to see Madonna in the 80's, Who's that girl tour I think, right at the front I was, dancing away.... youth :D You're only as old as the one you are feeling apparently. My DD's school fete was a while ago, they had temporary tattoos for the kids and a load of 6 and 7 year old girls were walking around with playboy bunny tattoos all over them :rotfl: thankfully mine wanted something else :D

Drank half the can of wine, didn't want it - made me feel all groggy and yukky headed

You probably would have had more alcohol if you had used the window washers on the car and breathed in the fumes :D

    Hi all..

Fay sorry to hear about your phd programme, will they be sorting it out for you so that the dyslexia is taken into account now? hope so hun, I think you sound like a really clever bunny, so all the best and keep yer chin up hen x

I am still in shock about MJ, I know he wasn't everyones cup of tea but I loved him and feel like I grew up with him, went to see him in the 80's too...I think I am upset because it feels like he never got the chance to perform again although 50 dates was way too ott and don't think that would have ever happened...

On the af front, managed yesterday even though did have some strong wine bells, just ate chocklit and watched masterchef and hotel babylon in bed...it helped that dh didn't drink either...

So 40sm thats now 16 af days for me.....now my target was 24 which I am obviously not going to make and tbh I should never have set my first month so high....so with 4 days left I am going to try for another 3 to make 19 which I would be really pleased with...

Jo Hope the fete goes well and you raise lots of money (and have happy parents)...

back in a mo, gotta change a nappy bleurgh

  • Tennis played, despite some rain - does me lots of good, physically and socially cos I play with other mums with children of similar age to mine, several of whom are friends of my DD1, so we can compare experiences that we are all going through with our dear teenagers, and even more importantly, find things out that we haven't been told conveniently.

I stayed AF last night, but had no chocklit in so had to shut the wine bells up with several heaped teaspoons of Nutella :o ..... fattening, but better than giving in. Hidden the jar for the next time

Sorry to hear your news, Fay. I'm sure you'll get that PhD in the end. But it was hardly a blip, one mouthful of wine ... I would have had the cava and the can .... Hope the neigbour enjoys the cava anyway.

Have a good day everybody x

    Hi everyone,

Sorry but I am not upto catching up with the posts that I have missed at the moment.

My holiday has been a total nightmare, to make it brief I have been bitten all over by BED BUGS, I have also had an allergic reaction and I have a sack like bag on my eye. Which at one point was so swollen it was closed.

I have had to see the doctor whilst in Scotland, the hotel moved me to another room but this was at the end of the week. They then told me that they were getting reontokil in. The manager has just rung me to confirm that the problem is bed bugs, (the doctor had previously confirmed this).

They have offered me £250 compensation but my holiday was almost double that, they are ringing me back. But I am in such a mess and I feel so low and depressed.

I am now petrified that I have brought some home in my suitcase, I am in the process of washing everything and I have thrown out my shoes, bags etc and the suitcases.

I feel sick, sorry but I am so low.

I hope you are all ok? I shall try and catch up when I can?

Hugs to you all and lots of love
