Fay your post made me laugh too - the office think I'm in an unusually good mood this morning! Possibly cos not feeling wine-groggy as well.

I overslept this morning though....what a rush....heard the pips & thought oh no am supposed to be 1/2 a mile away with the dog by now (he got dragged round this morning!).

wbf so sorry to hear about your delicate state....get back in there....

Today might be a struggle later.......that Friday feeling........lucky for me I bumped into my drinking "confidante" this morning & had a moan about my non-weight-loss (I have been SO GOOD on my diet this week, & no booze, am despondent) & she's given me a real egging on to stick at it for another week.

OK just a couple more bar jokes then I'll desist....

Man walks into a bar with a wide roll of tarmac under his arm & orders 2 pints, "one for me & one for the road".




Next day he goes in again, this time with a much narrower strip of tarmac under his arm, & orders a pint. The barman says "nothing for your friend today?" & the man replies "oh he mustn't touch alcohol he's a total cyclepath"

Sorry I did not update the scores last night but I HAD to go to bed earlier to stop me sending DH out for wine . I had a really carp day yesterday but am feeling better now. I will update the scores later tonight.

Come on Jo & Fay , SPILL THE BEANS. I am at work ( for once:o) and I am bored big time . .... Not that accountancy is never not boring:rotfl::rotfl:.

Well still not posted a AF day yet as I had a small glass of wine when I got in from work at 11pm last night.I had to try my new regime sometime and if I can keep to just the one glass ( Which I will ) then I am cutting my intake by about 95%. Not perfect but I will be well chuffed.

Work later so will catch up and wish you all a great day
