MP, I loved that song thank you for posting it :) I LURVE Stevie Wonder, and was gutted to have missed out on tickets for his gig at the 02 in London, it would've been an amazing night, plus only up the road so I would've got blind drunk too (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AyaTIXdN5fI&feature=related  :D:D:D) Have a lovely day girly :)

Happy birthday to Mini Maz :D

WB, my kids are the same, they don't even look back :rotfl: look forward to the carp joke later, I'll have to find one too to brighten some spirits :)

Eselt, I'm okay thanks, I'm really not worried, just know it's got to stop. Thanks for being such an inspiration :)

As it's polling day today my kids school is shut and so is the one where I work  (that's AF beer by the way ;)) and so I'm taking the kids and my dear ole mum out for the day to take advantage that half the kids in London will be in school.

    Hugs chaps

Lifes too short eh - reminded me of this -

Anyone seen the bit of string thing?

    I'll explain...............................

Take a bit of string about 1m long
    This represents your life

Cut it in half as we are prob half way through
    Chuck that bit away

Cut off 1/4 for work, for chores and stuff we 'have to do
    Cut off 1/4 for sleep

    Chuck those away

The rest of it that is left is the 'you' bit and the now bit and then rest of your life bit - when you look at how much we have its very short - we must enjoy it to the full and try not waste any of it.

When someone did that to me recently - it made me think - how much time do I waste because I have been drunk every night? (the thinking, the self loathing, the feeling ill and the being drunk bit)

Will post a stupid joke in a mo - sorry chaps - x

A man walks into the front door of a bar. He is obviously drunk, and staggers up to the bar, seats himself on a stool and, with a belch, asks the bartender for a drink. The bartender politely informs the man that it appears that he has already had plenty to drink, he could not be served additional liquor at this bar, and could a cab be called for him?

The drunk is briefly surprised, then softly scoffs, grumbles, climbs down off the bar stool and staggers out the front door. A few minutes later, the same drunk stumbles in the SIDE door of the bar. He wobbles up to the bar and hollers for a drink. The bartender comes over and, still politely - but more firmly, refuses service to the man due to his inebriation, and again offers to call a cab. The drunk looks at the bartender for a moment angrily, curses, and shows himself out the side door, all the while grumbling and shaking his head.

A few minutes later, the same drunk bursts in through the back door of the bar. He plops himself up on a bar stool, gathers his wits and belligerently orders a drink. The bartender comes over and emphatically reminds the man that he is clearly drunk, will be served no drinks, and either a cab or the police will be called immediately.

The surprised drunk looks at the bartender, and in hopeless anguish, cries "Man! How many bars do you work at?"
