Just watched the whole show. Not much more impressed I have to say! I do think they over spent on items. Plus what happened to the pretty little table she already had? She also had a painted chair so why buy 3 more?
I bet the table will annoy her with time, bits will fall down that hole.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
just watched it on i player and am not totally convinced - seemed very expensive for second hand planks !!
But moving on - I got a small wooden table from freecycle last night that I am planing an renovating and using as a pc table instead of my old beach effect chipboard rubbish - but that old thing has so much storage space on it i don't know where i will put everything .
I am thinking of adding some shelves above the desk with wicker baskets and tins for storage but shelving is so expensive .
does anyone have any tips for finding really cheap shelving materials ? ( becuase dh siad i could as long as I dont spend too much and i want to save the spends for pretty things )I am journeying to a debt-free life.
Our estimated debt-free date is January 2040. I'm on a mission to bring that date closer!

I am watching this now on iplayer- that table looked rubbish! Oh well! Glad mine was free and looks much nicer! The man in it as well is a bit of a snob....
I did my dining room for about a hundred pounds.
Still.... each to their own!
I really want a small dresser but don't want to pay a lot for it... maybe I will find one in the charity shop or freecycle.
I have loads of fabric so might make a few more cushion covers.... I have a window seat I want to update.
Have a good day all

I must be the only person who liked the table! I thought it was lovely. Not convinced about the three lampshades though.0

shame the duvets have now been discontinued. wanted to order a couple. not for beds but thought i could turn them into curtains and line them for my kitchen , figured it alot cheaper than per meter price of similar material. oh well. Perhaps they will be in stock again.0

Jane130 - we used old wardrobe doors to make some shelves - they look really quite good as well

xxxJust started cashback-ing - makes me feel less guilty when I impulse buy!0
