Danem1 that is just gorgeous. I love the paper. What a fantastic idea. I have just stopped for a break, I have finally managed to start painting my ottoman outside because had time off coinciding with the sun shining. I have already used two tins of plastikote spray paint and it looks like it needs lots more. I am changing it from blue to white. My thumbs are aching so much. Just having a little rest then off to focus to buy more tins. I really want to get it finished this weekend if I can. I will show the before and after when I get the chance. Although for some reason my picture links dont seem to be working. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. it was the matching border hun - but I would be quick if I were you - I was a bit worried I wasnt going to get the last piece as the first two paper shops that had it - have stopped doing it - B & Q were the only ones to still have it - I couldnt come out with lots of samples so I had previously got some from each store - then had to go back for last bit - panicked when the first two had then stopped it
It is lovely paper I would love to redecoratea room in it - a feature wall at least - thanks for comments about unit - Vicki you helped me quite a bit mate thanks - esp the bit about letting the glue off a bit first on the paper before applying and the handle so xxxx to you
I have this paper in my hallway and landing but its been up on the walls for about 6 years! and I thought it was a bit dated and was going to get it all taken off but now after reading this thread it looks like I'm back in fashion with it :rotfl:0 -

Vicki you have done a brill job with that footstool and Danemi your corner unit is gorgeous.
I managed to get myself a pine pedestal table with four matching chairs and one odd one today,I couldn't believe it when I walked into the CS and it was on sale for £20.00 !
It took me 2 trips to get it all home and will take photos tomorrow before I start to shabby it up !

I'm going to stick my neck out here. For years I did up lots of tatty old bits of furniture, especially for my 4 sons' bedrooms, in matching paint that pulled their individual bedrooms together. However, when the wood is good quality then 'Don't Paint' because the natural beauty of the wood is all that is needed. Instead: Clean; Strip; Wax or Lighten if necessary.0

Thanks Misschrissy, I have decided to do just that with the little lamp table that I bought last week. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar.
