Well at least you don't have to go in to work for much longer, hold onto that thought to keep you going. It's quite nice to have the housewarming so everyone can see the before too, then they will be really impressed at all your hard work!
Have a good day x0 -
Hi,
Sorry for jumping in like this. I've lurked on this thread for a while and thought this would be the best place to ask. My Sister bought this and that yesterday in Tesco with her Birthday money. She wants the dishwasher tablet box and the laundry basket in the same cream enamel but we can't find them anywhere online. We know we've seen them in a shop somewhere before but can't remember where. Does anyone know where to get them? Thanks.0 -
Hello all x
Little shabbying done here due to the small people being home and demanding attention (we're halfway through today, btw - 23 days down, 23 to go).
In the last two days however I have made the bag from the Cath Kidston 'Sew' book - it's a pretty useless size so it's got my sewing bits in it at the moment:
And I found a Moda charm set in my stash along with some backing fabric but no wadding (:() so I started on a new blanket for the dog:
When the wadding and binding arrives next week I shall get it finished. I mitred the corners, which I have never done before, so I'm rather proud!!!

You'll have to copy and paste the link as I've switched off the parsing thing."A cat can have kittens in the oven, but that don't make them biscuits." - Mary Cooper

loving the dogs blanket. How posh is that? I never thought about doing something like that for my dog. 'Course you can Cherisong. I've got another set of the charms exactly the same but no border fabric so I haven't decided what to do with them yet. I might just chuck them back in the stash and fish them out when inspiration strikes"A cat can have kittens in the oven, but that don't make them biscuits." - Mary Cooper
