Hmmm, I don't know, I'm not even sure if the liquid sander I have been using is or isn't ESP? It's a pink runny liquid. I might try homebase to see if there is something else. It's got quite a shiney finish so I do need to do something - but what??
I'm not touching it until I have done the downstairs though and yes, I know I always say that but this time I do mean it lol!

No, not really impressed - it doesn't make much difference to me.

Was supposed to be on a Mum's night out but only 2 of us could mke it in the end so I guess this will be an earlier night than planned at least!

No - we are rescheduling :(. It's only a twice a year sort of thing so it would be a shame if most of us couldn't make it.

I did find out yesterday that it's my turn to have everyone round next Saturday about 8 mums and 2-3 year olds so I'd really like to get the place looking presentable.

Thanks hun, loving the dodgy hug :D just having a really sh*t time at work at the moment. So much so that I ended up giving my notice yesterday  I was supposed to be leaving early September anyway but as luck would have it I got offered some more freelance work elsewhere, so I finish next week. I'll still need to make up a bit of extra cash, but the relief was immense.

Bureau has had two coats now of undercoat & primer, hoping to give it another before I go to work today so hopefully by this evening I can put the top coat on! I need to strip the hardware off the drawers and do those too, I've been too lazy to raid the garage for the right tools so far :o

At least if you've rescheduled you've got something to look forwards to now  it's quite good having a deadline for house stuff sometimes, otherwise it has a tendency to drag on. We've got our house warming on 28th, but as it's a project we've bought I've resigned myself to the fact that it's going to be a tip however hard I try
