Mirror looks great EL. I want to do a dressing table mirror too, just waiting for a really good bargain!

Dylan had his nap and I couldn't wait so I made a seat pad, well almost, my little machine made it! Just need to do the hand stitching to close the hole. Now my book says to use buttons to finish but I think they would feel all lumpy. Any ideas/opinions welcome. I just think having 5 buttons digging into my bum is going to feel awful!

I suppose it depends how deep you've made it. If it's deep enough so that the buttons are in a dip, you won't feel them.

Not very deep, I'd say they are as much for decorative purposes as they are for comfort. I think I will leave the buttons off then.
    Here is the first one.

Hello Shabby Chic-ers  Not visited here for a while (I really MUST pare down my subscribed threads)

Myself and my lovely OH are going on a coach trip (how OS is that?!) to Whitby next week and I'm hoping anyone can tell me of any 'lovely things' shops I can look in while we're there. Other than the jet shops, of course - I've been to Whitby before, and OMG how expensive the jet is

I would appreciate any feed-back, knowing how geographically widespread MSE'ers are, I'm sure someone will know of somewhere I can spend my OH's money!

Thank you in advance. And, my, you've all been busy little bees, haven't you? Keep up the good work, girls (and boys?) :)
