Did you do them from photos Pennib? The one on the blog is brilliant, I can't get the hang of watercolour, everything just slushes into one and looks a bit fuzzy, the detail you have got is fab.

I dip in and out of it now - esp when its someones brithday.. always make their cards etc - I enjoyed being on the team as I got to play with the new products - it sounds more glam than it actually was - just a few friends getting together and playing with paper and glue etc - cutting and sticking - lol - I enjoyed it! What things do you do hun??

hmmm well I.....paint pictures/sew/sock monkeys/do up furniture/cross stitch/embroidery/applique/decoupage/gardening had a go at felting, and made a few cards that I sold (cos they had a tartan theme!)help my daughter when she makes her baby (nappy)and pamper cakes. This is not all at once tho! It's in between housework and other boring stuff. Havnt tried scrapping or parchment pricking but ya got to draw the line somewhere :rotfl:

Glueing cutting and sticking is fun that's what I was doing with my gd this aft.

I really don't know how I came to find this thread, I was looking for reviews on pressure washers! BUT you gave me the inspiration (or kick up the backside) to complete a little job I started a while ago of making some cushions for our garden furniture.

    Thank you all, job done.

Pennib, you are one crafty lady! I know I mentioned it before but does anyone do silk ribbon embroidery. I really want to make something like this:

I do have a book on how to do it, and it seems simple enough and forgiving of slight errors! I was just wondering how much ribbon I was likely to need and also if there was a cheaper alternative to silk ribbon that would work? I think it would be a lovely sitting in front of the TV in the evening project.

They are really, really pretty. Is silk a generic term for the shiny ribbon. The thin ones
are quite cheap, but sorry cant really help you.
