I've not done scrapbooking......yet. It looks very time consuming although I got the brown paper
bag book to do summat with but its still in the drawer, untouched.
I started with a couple of things from lakeland - and now have a room full and I have to say I feel guilty as I have gone off the boil a bit - since discovering this thread - and I have been heavily into it for about 6 years - was even on a design team at one point but just felt like I needed a break and then found how therapeutic painting furniture and learning to sew - naughty me eh!

Wow, that's gorgeous. No wonder you were on a design team, bet they were
    gutted when you left.
Bet it's expensive to get all those bits and bobs. I have to keep saying to myself no more crafts,
NO MORE CRAFTS.....but it doesn't work!

aw ta hun - u r very kind ..actually the ones above were done on the puter - so didnt cost anything but I have got all the gubbings - darent sit and count it up - wont let dh either - but I dont really go out - dont drink much - certainyl dont smoke - so crafting is my thing that I spend my pennies on - would love to be able make a living out of it - that would be a dream come true! So many businesses have folded though havent they in the current climate - such a shame!

To craft all day long would be a dream come true for me as well (and gardening!)Oh if only........!
On the computer hey, well that's darn clever. I'm not that far advanced in all that. Have only
just cottoned on to re-sizing photos so that they dont jump out of the screen at you! The thing
is with gubbings they don't go off so you can always go back to it when the fancy takes you. :0)
  • notsorich - brilliant job on the tray and mag rack. When you say the varnish bled into the paper...I thought you could varnish over wallpaper anyway? Is the paper from B&Q kids range? I've seen similar in there.
Hi Newmee, yes the paper is from the kids range at B&Q they have a gorgeous pink floral one that goes with it.
The varnish hasn't bled too much, perhaps I just put too much on there!
