xxvickixx; Your frame looks great......another one for free, love it!
Eagerlearner; sorry can't help but as another poster said it might be incompatible
paints used. Miffed when that happens :0( still onwards and upwards, you learn by
your mistakes (or so they say ;0)0 -

In the end I wirebrushed the base coat all off and painted straight on with the Crown paint and it seems ok.
Just wondered why that had happened though?
Thanks for the replies all - I guess I am confused, as the base paint said it was base for wood, and then the Crown paint said it was for wood... so how could they be incompatiblethen again - it came out ok and I have alot to learn still!

I bought perspex cut to size on ebay it was pretty inexpensive. Used it for the "fridge" shelves in the play kitchen I made.0

Hi ladies! i was wondering if any of you have a pantry, as i am going to decorate ours country shabby chic, and any ideas and pics
of what you have done, would really inspire me. At the moment it just has one set of freestanding pine shelves in it.

Hi all thanks for the perspex ideas - will look on ebay - also Pink Tiger I thought of that but then if I want to change the paper the perspex makes it that tiny bit easier.
Would love a pantry one day, for now we have lots of cupboards - as to my door progressm 2 more full ones and the back of 2 others to go...
Very excited as my Laura Asjley Isodore duck egg blue wallpaper arrives tomorrow... that will be for a small kitchen detail and maybe bathroom, if one roll would be enough.
then have seen some gorgeous Italian wallpaper called Lucia:

We want a very natural/wood/plants look for the living room so would love that for an alcove in the living room to hide at least some of the artex... it's fairly thick, so would you reckon if we use thick wallpaper paste it would cover the artex?MFW #185
