    Thanks jackie I bought the sideboard from ebay for £5.50!!!! :)
    the chair on the last photo was bought from ebay as it is (the guy was and upholsterer) for £30!!!!

    I'm really pleased with them and want to do more - its so addictive

    Hi everyone,
    I am not too good at posting these images but here is our kitchen when we viewed our house (we then moved in 3 days before Christmas!) - and yes, they *did* have carpet in the kitchen:

    I have loved doing it and after 6 months it's all been worthwhile! Full blog article at:

    Also painted kitchen a sage green, it was dark burgundy before. I have also removed the offending carpet tiles, for now we're left with 'naked' floor but will do that when budget allows...

    Loving the inspiration here and want to thank the person from here who did the lovely Welsh dresser make over that I have featured on my latest blog entry, hope this is ok, it's given me an ideal to aim for!

    eagerlearner - w o w - your ktchen transformation is awesome - I keep wondering about it - did you do it all with sugarsoap first and then use primer or did you do something else
