oh vicki _ I have been worrying - thinking I may have upset you - wished I hadnt said anything really - its just I loved the photos that you posted re the kitchen etc and was nosey to see more - this thread is too addictive - keeps giving me too many ideas for the time I have - cant get everything done as it is and always want to do more - lol

Love your ceiling roses - have often wondered about them myself - they are so pretty and your light is gorgeous too

Hart - you did do really well at the boot sale - love all your finds - cant wait to see them once you have given them their makeover

Ah you wally, it'll take more than that to offend me lol! I'm flattered that anyone was interesed to be honest.

Just been to pick up my ceiling roses and am over the moon with them, they look so expensive and were only £5 and £6, the "cheap" polystyrene ones in B&Q started at about £17 each. The bloke is a plaster tradesman and has just started selling on ebay so I'm very pleased. Lets hope DH can put them up without breaking them.

Hope that works, otherwise just search that seller.

More ebay joy - I just bought 4 rolls of LA Toile wallpaper in blue! I'm hoping that I'll only need 2 but it's good to have some extra. And since the dresser is 99% finished I think it's going to be needed soon!

You work fast Vicki. I've managed to finish 3 out of my 6 dining chairs. You can call me slow but sure.:rotfl:

oh i love you roses vicki.

do u rememeber me saying about our old home built in 1733 ish. well the celings had those plaster roses. they were huge and so high up, we also had the plaster cornice things on the walls . well i think it was plaster. not sure what was used back then. It did look so spectacular. adds just a little finishing touch. my tiny lil house now tho would look silly with them, which is a shame.
