Ok ladies (and gents too...if any are around?!), here are the shabby chic highlights
the rest will go on my blog. It's definitely on the shabby side of chic at the moment, but I can't wait to get my hands on the place properly and start the renovations!
Living room carpet - never my choice, but it's fantastic quality and there's something really shabby chic about it. I think it would be nice as a fabric design.
Little heart shapes on the stair spindles.
Flowery door handles upstairs (shame these aren't throughout the house)
Shabby chic bathroom sign.
And last but not least...
My new furniture painting workshop, in much anticipated garden!!0 -
Hiya, my first post on this thread and I was after some advice please
I've been given a pine wardrobe that I want to paint/change in some way. It doesn't have a finish/varnish I think it just has a light wax or oil of some sort. Any ideas on how to paint it? I didn't want to paint it a flat colour and wondered about watered down emulsion paint. Anybody done anything similar?

It looks luvverly, love those stair spindles. Were you running around like a crazy thing, placing all your furniture in your minds eye?
Fantastic workshop as well.
Congratulations, it will be great to watch it all evolve.
Can't post a comment on your blog, because I'm too stupid to work out how:(0
