Hello all I was up early had very successful shopping trip and was feeling very pleased with myself. I had many plans but my sister and Bf are round now which means I can't do much without making them look bad which upsets mum so I am toying with a nap or some tidying.

I wish sometimes Mum would go over to them. I could tidy up downstairs then. but if I start doing that now when everyone is having a cup of tea and watching sport then its makes everything feel akward - my role is to be the lazy daughter asleep up stairs.

ooo in other news I got my ears pierced so now I have two holes!

I might do somesorting here instead.
    Nevertheless she persisted.

Hi Buffy, this has to be the quietest day ever on here. Is there another chat thread?

It's crazy quiet on here today!

I'm freezing as well, I just can't seem to warm up at all!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

    Afternoon all!

Was up at 5am this morning (yes, you read that correctly!) to do carboot with my mad friend-we shoved it all into DH Landrover and made our way to a field in the Black Countraaaay, she cleaned up-£120! And I did about £50-but sold loads and loads of the kids clothes which is good. we had a right larf, will post a couple of pictures on FB later.

Snaggles is coming over to play tonight which is nice-we will watch crap tv and sing-a-long Mamma Mia.

I've just eaten the most enormous bowl of couscous and feel rather full up-which is good-was tempted to get a chinese tonight but can't really afford it...

Anyone got any plans for this weekend?

Linda-new shoes sound grand-I know already what my gait is like (many years of having to wear supports in my shoes like Forrest bloody Gump-I know I have flat feet! lol) and I got some trainers recommmended for me and they've made a huge difference to my running.

Good luck with the dinner out with the kids Len-I always found it easier to get out of the house with the kids then stay inside.

    afternoon all.

Back from my impulse enrolment jewellery course and I was rubbish at it. Very frustrating when you're left handed in a right handed group and all the images showing the stitchwork are done for right handed people. We were doing beadwork.

I almost gave up at lunchtime and came home. If it weren't for the fact I work there and so know the tutor and another tutor who was there I would have just come home. The tutor is excellent and the stuff she had with her that she has made was just amazing but although we all struggled with a really basic stitch I doubly struggled as I was trying to learn it and then reverse it so I could do it.

Oh well, another hobby tried I won't be booking for more classes :rotfl: Seems I'm stuck with just being able to cook
