My brother signed up last week, seems fine so far. Free router, no activation fee.
And their customer service reps monitor these forums too, although I've heard their telephone support is not up to much.Of course, I may just be talking b****cks!0 -
They're very good. I had problems at first and the customer service people were very attentive (although I didn't agree with the reinstalling the modem drivers part of the script) at getting it sorted.0

I changed to Madasafish 3 weeks ago having spent 10 years on Tiscali dial up. I upgraded to Tiscali Broadband and my connections constantly dropped. Their support was 100% RUBBISH. I didnt realise what good service was until I transferred to Madasafish. Good support, and I am a real happy bunny :T"Did you hear about the frog that broke down on the motorway???? They toad him away!"0

Hi Guys,
I signed up on Wednesday and so far so good... Router arrived this morning and due to loose my broadband virginity next Thurs. Will keep you posted as to how it goes next week. I must say I am very imressed so far. Lost my bt line for a while today, not sure if this was due to bt or madasafish but it was restored within 30min.

Prob gonna go for madasafish but do not have a landline. Any ideas what is the best to use in conjunction with this. Have read Martins piece but unsure about whether the post office phone line would work. Any ideas? And if, you know, your history...0

Hello Dixie Dean,
You can use the Post Office service in conjunction with Madasafish services (the Post Office is a reseller of the BT services).
Kind regards,
Samara

Does using broadband entail call charges or can I just pay £5 a month FOR THE LINE RENTAL AND THAT'S IT? Cheers. In advance like. And if, you know, your history...0

Hello Dixie Dean,
With Broadband there are no 'call charges'.
You will, of course, need to pay the line rental to have the physical phone line running into your property and working so you can have broadband!
The two ongoing monthly costs for broadband are:
1. Monthly subscription cost of the broadband package
2. Monthly line rental cost through your phone supplier
Kind regards,
Samara
