For a start it's not a "fine" and the best advice is to ignore this unenforceable invoice. Do not contact the company and ignore any correspondence from them. You have done nothing wrong and have not broken any laws and you are not "in trouble". For further reassurance please read the other threads on this forum.

I repeat, it's not a "fine", it's an invoice. They cannot clamp you for a supposed debt. That's against then law

Are these guys still on the go?.I got several nasty letters threatening all sorts if I didnt pay. I took the advice from this site and ignored them. The con merchants havent sent me anything else for two years. IGNORE THEM dont contact them at all.
  • i have received a fine from c plus p for overstaying in an M18 service station car park ... should i pay or ignore
  • Take the time to read several threads on private parking 'fines' and you will get the answer plain and simple. Ignore. These 'fines' have no legal validity, consequently you will not be taken to court despite a series of ever-threatening letters. Then get your revenge on this outfit by telling all your friends and any body else that will listen that Private Parking Contractor's 'fines' are jokes and should be ignored. With Christmas coming, you have better uses for your money.

You haven't been fined, you have an invoice that is not enforceable, and best ignored and filed away with all such things like nigerian 419 letters, best to keep them together so you can have a laugh at their attempts to empty your wallet ;)

They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

Wrong - you did not receive a fine of any sort.

Ignore all and any correspondence from the company.

The consensus seems to be ignore the letters. OK.

What I don't understand is this. Why don't these parking companies clamp the vehicles?

(I'm not saying they should or they shouldn't.)
