baby bath support - not essential but if u want it get it
baby lotion - I wouldn't bother just use olive oil much better for price/bubba/environment :D
sheepskin - not essential but I guess u know that :)
ear thermometer - deffo for me
grooming kit - I'm guessing thats a hair brush, nail clippers thing? if so then yes get brush but I found normal small clippers easier than 'baby' ones
bath toys - I wouldn't bother so early they only have a quick dip until they can sit up and enjoy it
baby flannels - 'grown up' ones are fine
waterproof mattress liner - isn't ur mattress in a cover already?
bouncy chair? - IMO essential also it must vibrate
room thermometer? - you can get ones that are ear and room ones like the nurofen one that is cheap in lloyds
mobile? - waste of money IMO
nasal aspirator? - gross and unnecessary IMO

Is this too long? too short? Missing something vital? I'm not 'up' on reusables but would you need booster pads? also nappy soak like nappisan (sp?) or teatree oil

SugarSpun, I went into early labour at 30 weeks...apparently my cervix had effaced but not dilated (I was told this by the MW at the hospital)...although I am now about 1cm dilated because the baby is quite low. They managed to stop my labour...I got given progesterone and an anti-contraction drug. I'm still taking the progesterone but only a much milder anti-spasmodic now. So it is possible to stop it...I'm 34 and a half weeks now, and the doctor says that it doesn't mean that the baby will turn up early. Good luck and hope that they can convince your baby to stay put too.

    They've only given me magnesium, it's a bl00dy supplement!

I WANT SOME DRUGS TO STOP THIS!!!

We're going to the hospital when my beloved gets home. I've decided. NEED DRUGS.

Sorry I've not posted in a few days, you can guess what I've been doing in my lunch hours instead!

    Good luck, Sugar

I'm not northern! Brum is Midlands, but I live near London! It's the gparents that are near Brum so it seemed a good idea.

Skinty, does that mean that my cute little lambs reusable nappies have tempted you to get a few backups? they are adorable aren't they!
    :D

    Yep :D I looove them! I'm sure I'll need a few backups!

Sami - thanks for your comments. The mattress liner is for me :o for when my waters break!

And i really want a sheepskin cos apparently they help with EC cos if they wee on it you can wipe it off easily because of the lanolin.

Bear - that makes u top as far as i know! top of my league is fairydawn with 139,700

Skinty - no probs, i do love sheepskin we had one at home growing up and I lived on it from being a baby until it was chucked when I was about 13!
I didn't think about waters  I've got a waterproof washable pad type thing that I used last time and will do again - didn't need it tho coz mine went very conveniently on the loo

sugarspun hope everything stops and baby stays put for a while, im surprised they let u come home???

skinty if your planning on reusuable nappies do you know some councils will give you money towards them! also look online as most peole buy them with good intentions and dont use them:D

bouncy chair is a MUST i dont know what i would do without mine! and i find a bath support easier with a baby rather than a baby bath
What's for you won't go past you
