I really can't be arsed to tidy my house today - my hairdresser is popping over tomorrow after work to style my hair. Oh well, we can use the side door and stay in the kitchen! :o

The worse thing is I need to do it in the week anyway as my brother and step-dad are coming but I really cant be bothered!

Congratulations Shell he is beautiful and what a whopper you did damn well there chick goodluck and hope to catch up with you on the parenting thread in a few months time ;-) xx
:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j
  • Congrats Shellsuit - he's gorgeous and nice and chunky! Can't believe you managed a due date baby though! I'm still here - now 4 days over.

I've booked a sweep for wednesday if he hasn't arrived by then as the earliest they will do one is term + 7 days and finally got my hands on a HiPG form. Its all completed an ready to put in the post!! Midwife said I need to spend some time on my hands and knees to make sure he doesn't go back to back like DS1 as he was lieing at an angle across my belly earlier. And whenever he moves around to bounce like crazy on my gym ball! SO far today I've mowed the front lawn and done the edges, DH did the back, cleaned the ovens, sorted out home insurance, get cheques ready to pay in the bank, order some batteries for house alarm - so I've been quite productive today and now knackered so better have a rest in front of the telly in case bump arrives later!!

    You're welcome :)

I had lots of dire warnings before I got mine but I found it fairly easy to use and I think as long as you accept that sometimes you wont find the HB but it doesn't mean anything is wrong, then you'll be OK.

It's our first as well (well, first successful pregnancy, first baby would have been due two weeks today :( ) so I might be less bothered next time but I've loved using it and hearing the baby moving about.

Can't believe I only have ten weeks to go before this baby is here!:j

I also have the Angelsounds doppler purchased on Amazon and have found it really good. We bought it at around 16 weeks and found the heartbeat straight away. I was glad I had already heard it at midwife appointment so I knew what I was listening for though as it's much more frantic than I would have expected!

You'd think wouldn't you... But hubby's been singing 'I love willys' since we watched the IT crowd last week... I was trying to get it but it's not on YouTube...
is it not on the IT crowd website? or the FB group? I'm trying to remember it but I can't!
