tara your not 22 are you :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: x

Wish I was at the moment, feel about 62! :p

My MIL used to have Ben when he was a baby 2 days a week as I worked full-time, I went part-time in the end as she was freaking me out a bit. She has clothes at her house and he would have a different top on when I collected him, and she would bath him when he got there then sweep his hair over to one side. When he visits now he pushes it back and tells her not to do it as it looks geeky! :rotfl: Then I found out from a friend that she joined the Toddler group with him which wasn't a problem but she never even told us she was taking him, the final straw came when he had stayed over one Saturday night as a treat and we rang the next morning to see if he had a good sleep and he wasn't there, but she was as she had let OH's SIL take him to Sunday School.
Too many children, too little time!!!
    :p

I think the closest in age/number of kids we have is Caz who had her 5th bubba at 25yo in feb - She is lovely though not a scally that just keeps popping them out :D

I love kids but there's no way I'm being pregnant 6 times :p I'm still determined to foster/adopt some extras (Just call me Angelina )

  • SM - so are you not in touch with MIL anymore at all? If am honest, I wouldn;t mind that myself but DH is v close to his family so that would never happen! I can imagine some real set-tos though over the next few years. Let's just say we have rather different views on life :D

TJ - I'd be furious if that had happened to me!

I find the best way is to smile and accept their crap and send it straight to the charity shop ;)
I go through phases of being annoyed with my grandparents so I get my mum to take Chris to see them when I can't be bothered with them I'd rather not see what goes on, what I don't know doesn't hurt me

I want to foster in the future, didn't plan on 6, was stopping at 4 but things happen and then I met my OH. I have spent last 2 years working with a fostered child so that sort of made up my mind for me! :D

  • Sami - I know, it's just that they're on benefits and I'd feel a bit guilty at them wasting their money on tat! If they must spend, just let us give them a teensy weensy bit of guidance - that'd be ideal! I suspect it'll be regular charity shop runs though :D
