you mean there is another way to eat it?
 Just missed out on a fisher price bouncer for £1. My own fault didnt put in a bid, and then my boss had the audacity to come and talk to me about work, and i missed the end of the ebay auction by about 30 seconds.

you should be able to get lactulose on 'sript from the GPs without an appointment and free if you've had ur booking in app so they know ur preggers and have sent of ur prescription exemption card application ;)

on that note... I've had to up my dose of lactulose :( I'm really looking forward to being able to go #2 without effort after baby has arrived:rotfl:

constipation is supposed to be v common in pregnancy, but I seem to have the opposite problem!

mrsapple - try prune juice or similar stuff. supposed to work like a charm!
do you normally suffer like that when AF is due?
I always used to have a dicky tum for a couple of days before AF and in both my pregs had dia-woo-woo for the first 2 months:eek: My poor lil Chris was tucked up in there without me knowing while I was popping imodium almost everyday for 2mths - thank god it didn't do him any harm!!

Thanks but i have been told by the dr of a baby boom so i have no idea when i will see a MW - the dr said that they should write to me in about two weeks with a date. She said if it is over what i think is the 12 week mark she will overide them and book the scan. I think i will try your suggestions and if nothing proper happens over the weekend i will make an appointment with the dr.

No when AF is due my system seems to work better. It is really strange. Never had it before. I have grind to the halt. I suppose they do prune juice in sainsburys. I hate prunes. <shudders> but if it makes me better

Mine's not that bad, it's more just...going more often that usual (3x day as opposed to normal 1x - sorry tmi), if that makes sense. Don't really remember if it's like that before AF, as I was on contraceptive for 2 yrs prior to this pregnancy. oh well, guess i'm just the freak! :P
