I think the celebs having combined tummy tucks and c sections is an urban myth :rotfl:
If you think about it, a c section is done by an obstetrician and a tummy tuck is done by a cosmetic surgeon. Whilst an obstetrician might know the theory of how to do one, I can't imagine any image conscious celebs wanted to let anyone other than an expert loose with a cosmetic op.
Looking at the list of people with operating privileges at the Portland, where a lot of celebs deliver, and where I had my last two and am having this one, there aren't any cosmetic surgeons on the list, but obstetricians they have coming out of their ears.
I think there remarkable bounce back is due to training hard with personal trainers both during and post pregnancy, and also following fairly strict diets after the birth. And frankly, life is too short for that!!0 -

Hi all - am back from pesky work
just wanted to say thanks to everyone who posted back about the gender thing... great to hear about all your fantastic daughters who are taking it to the world! I was in a meeting today and started daydreaming about our little girl cub and was feeling a lot more positive (had to refocus pretty quickly when I got asked what I thought about some blah or other)
I can't believe about that MIL who acts like it's her child (was it MM?) OMG! Am a bit worried about my MIL as she is a bit of a tat merchant (she collects those awful Piggin figurines) and am certain she will inundate us with yukky frilly trash. Thing is, they haven't got much money so would rather she didn't waste it on stuff there's no way I'm putting on Cub! Hmmm, think will leave it to DH to 'manage' his mum :rolleyes:MFW Challenge member no. 96 - on hold!
