my BMI was 33 when i had my booking in appt but they haven't treated me any differently? i think the cutoff is 350

 I just checked my BMI on some website and it says 31, i swear i don't feel obese . Does this mean i'll be treated different?:o
I'm borderline obese (according to stupid BMI charts that are useless !!), but my MW said as i was healthy and had a fairly good diet and was in relatively good shape (if you ignore the fat round the middle and the saggy bum !!) that it wasnt an issue. Just depends on your MW to be honestThe two best things I have done with my life

Beenie, the decision whether to midwife or consultant isn't just based on BMI - in my case it was a combination of my age (40) and my BMI (30), which round here would seem to point me towards consultant-led care - but as I have no major health problems, for the moment they're happy to keep me under the midwives.
I've never liked BMI calculations anywayThey tend to reckon I'm "obese" whereas I'd just say I'm "overweight", and I sure don't need a chart to tell me that
As for midwives being ogres - well, I was expecting a hagbut she turned out to be really nice!
