The battle for daily boxer changes is long since lost!

I don't mind though as long as they don't get flung in my direction !

    morning everyone!!

been to dentist this morning no fillings yay!! just told me to be even more stringent in cleaning my teeth and to expect quite a bit of bleeding from my gums as i get further along in my pregnancy.

have been feeling a lot of movement in past few days so i think all my worrying may have been unnecessary... baby i guess was asleep/not moving when i've been awake. only few days till scan!!

Glam- thats awful what you mil and fil did!! bet its put you right off calling baby Jack now. -if you do be prepared for years and years of Jack and Jill jokes!! (i still get them now!!) although when i worked in supermarket one of the mamagers was called Jack so if a customer went 'jill, where's Jack?', i used to go 'i'll just get him for you,' then bring him over..... loved doing that.!!

got my letter from GP as well to say i am having no complications/ problems and i am fit to fly!! woo hoo!! only 6days till my cruise!!!

Going back to my dispute with OH over changing units, i've seen this on eBay which i quite like, it's got a secret baby bath in it :D (i know, i know, they aren't necessary either but it makes it that bit more useful IMO lol)

i like that style as well. Roxy has one on eastenders and i think someone on here has one similar, not sure who though...
our baby room is quite big so would fit in ours... see if i can persuade brother to buy it for us..

    oh yeah

am I a biatch for this....................

OH and I said that we both really liked the name Jack and would probably call bean Jack. Cue baby actually being called Jack now by MIL and FIL!!!

In the end I had to ask them to stop (they actaully introduced me to someone as 'Glam & Jack' and just call baby 'bean' or baby.

We weren't telling anyone the baby's name, but we told my grandmother before she died. She, in turn, told my aunt - the aunt who I rarely speak to, who told everyone and is now referring to the Bellyfrog by the name she will have when she's out despite requests not to because we're superstitious.

Our first daughter will have this particular name. We're expecting a daughter, but we're not going to name her till she's out and we know she's ok. Grrr.

Bad morning so far - up late because I felt weird, then I was getting really low cramps so I stayed still for a while. I had to go and do emergency stuff at the bank and then was really dodgy on the underground on the way to the office, so I came home instead. I'm going to take it easy for the next couple of hours and see how it goes - fortunately I can work at home if necessary.

On the plus side, my box of exciting stuff came, so when I feel a bit better I'm going to make something to eat and then go through it and put away everything that needs to be put away.

Thanks peeps for the lovely comments, hugs appreciated at the moment lol.

I suppose I just feel gutted though I know his alcohol problem is a long way off being resolved yet. I dont believe it will really be sorted till he goes to AA and stays there.

Hypno - we have been dealing with his alcoholism 13 years . I have a rule of no alcohol in the house, either in his body or in a bottle.

I had asked my 14YO to keep an eye on things and she said everything was fine while I was in hospital. I suspect he has been having a nightcap maybe when I go to bed, though im not sure and I wont ever know the truth. He is nowhere near as bad as he was, he has been mainly sober for a year & 1/2, with some slips. He is probably under the impression he is controlling it because he is not getting legless (I hope)

Leaving the kids with grandparents is an option but unlikely as DH will be very against this and if left alone will probably drink himself into oblivion.

As it stands, he swears it was only 1 bottle, wont happen again and was from ages ago. I refuse to believe a word from his mouth and wont speak to him.

I feel so frustrated because for the 1st time ever im dependant on him
