She has never been a big sleeper. If she gets 10 hours thats plenty and is always full of energy !!!

I guess its something she has got from our parents, as me and OH like our sleep A LOT !!!

I'm allergic to penicillin too, and although the German doctors just accept it and ask if I'm wearing a medic alert bracelet the UK ones I've seen always give me a hard time and ask exactly what happens if they administer it to me. Anaphylaxis is what happens. My throat swells and I cease being able to breathe properly. It's a wee bit scary.

My mood has gone awful again tonight. I need the security code slip for my bank account, but I can't find it anywhere even though I know it's been on my desk because I used it since I got back from the UK. I'll have to go to the bank and do all this stuff in person, which always annoys the bejesus out of me because they need to see all this paperwork and I just do not know why. GRRR.

And my husband, beloved as he is, had the temerity to update his Facebook status whinging about how only breathing seems to annoy pregnant women. I'm tempted to offer to help him fix that. With a pillow.

ARGH.. Any ideas for getting this baby to slow down and sleep for a bit?! :(

Feels like he's dragging his fingertips across my belly at the bottom and trying to kick my boobs at the top, mixed in with just wiggling his bum for the fun of it!

Nicki - I think you have to be here to see what I mean. Hundreds of hubbies returned from a 6 month tour around the same time and there are now hundreds of pregnant ladies around who are all under the same med centre. It would be a sight to see them all running to the med centre for these tests during an outbreak (all our children go to the same 2 schools) no matter how simple they are. Nothing is simple in the Army.

Fingers crossed for you Lil miss.

Sami - I am going to sound like I am contradicting everything you say today. I'm not, I promise. But, when I registered for the first time with the Army med centre here I said I have always been told I am allergic to penicillin and I was told that quite often people think they are because they had some sort of reaction as a child but in fact they aren't. I was told to book in to be tested to find out for sure as the penicillin I am apparently allergic to is quite common and better than the alternatives.

Never managed to get that checked out though so still none the wiser :rotfl:
I bet its a right nightmare on an army base and a bit like being on some weird planet where everyone's pregnant :rotfl: if its all the same people in a few years you'll be skint from all the kids parties too!!

they didn't mention testing my allergy but they always ask if I've ever had it and what my reaction was  how would I know I was allergic if I'd never had it I don't know! I do have lots of allergies tho...
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.
