Afternoon ladies, hoerp your all well

I get the smell thing its awfull becasue anything can trigger it off. Bakerys are the worst for me i cant stand them have even had to start going round the supermarket the other way to avoid it.

Guess what everyone: I'm home. Dr's said about induction but after midwife carried out an internal and confirmed waters hadn't broken, blood pressure settled down a bit etc consultant said I could go home! So due date tomorrow and looks like bump isn't being evicted just yet but if I behave I could still have my homebirth! Thank you to everyone for your kind wishes and thoughts - i started to thank you but the internet on patientline is so painfully slow and it refreshed after each one, I know I couldn't sleep but it was painfully slow to update

Glad bubs is ok, I know it's hard waiting but having had 2 HB's the wait will be worth it!

Hi all.. Grrr, I've been tense all day cos the world and his dog has felt the need to comment on me! Just calming down with caramel shortcake and a cuppa

A friend (ex colleague who I was ranting to by email!) asked me how I would feel if they all ignored my pregnancy and didn't mention it at all... my answer was that "I wouldn't care - I didn't get pregnant for their entertainment!" :rolleyes:

As I was saying to my colleague, I don't make much effort with my appearance because I purposely like to sink into the background and not be noticed, so I really hate it that everyone now seems to think it's fair game to comment on how I look. Oddly, it seems to be more the women who have had kids who are the worse! I get "hey, fat bird!" from the shift guys and I actually prefer that than the chat about how well I do/don't look or when my next appointment is!

*sigh* Anyway.. getting myself wound up again! Mum's making raspberry muffins.. that'll help!

Got to nip back to our house tonight plus have brought some work home with me. Am helping run a "team building" activity session tomorrow with 12 blokes I've not met before - won't that be fun! Hopefully they'll all be on their best behaviour (they all want permanent jobs! ).
