Hello folks
Been a right rush all day - into town this morning, then took DS to college (cos it was raining!), home for lunch, then DS home 1500, picked up DH 1530 & on to dentist. Home before 1700, shoved some sort of tea down neck, took DS to work, into sainsbugs, home, toddler's supper & bed, but he keeps getting up!:D Just had big bowl of MrS version of sugar puffs - haven't had any for years & just fancied some. Was dreading how sweet I remembered them, but not bad at all! Also got a bar of Baileys choc for later, if toddler stays in bed. Lady at till said it's an age-related product & you have to be over 16 to buy it! :rotfl:
Taken ages to finish post cos DS3 keeps getting out of bed - so have now eaten 1/2 of Baileys bar in case DH/DS come home & want to share!July 2024 GC £0.00/£400

I just hear whining. Erin was playing out and for the 1st time ever the girl next door came out with her friend. All the other kids here play fine together every day and tonight there was a problem. Seems they were riding bikes past each other now this girl has a scratch on hers and has blamed the other kids. Even though they weren't playing with her. I've no doubt there was a certain amount of b!!ching going on but they all insist no-one went near the bike, none of them are that stoopid. One of the other neighbours said the 2 girls came back to the driveway, gave each other a high five and said 'go girls'. I smell a set up! Trouble is her hubby is horrible.Too many children, too little time!!!0

Well 1) why was the house open if no one was in

Although they are a very notorious family in our area, for all the wrong reasons !!, and I don't let Jasmine play with her EVER !!The two best things I have done with my life

Hi all.. I'm around but browsing tile websites for ideas for the kitchen and bathroom - oh, what fun!
Can't get comfy tonight - I think Bob's had a growth spurt and my bump feels really tight. Think it's just under strain from standing up straight all day so I'm lying back on the sofa. Best get the Bio-Oil out before the stretchmarks get me!0 -

Crikey! Just got back from a weekend away and there were more than a 1000 posts while I was gone. So. I've just read todays. Has anyone popped over the weekend though?
Glam, I'm with Sami that top and tail bowls are a waste of time. If you have one bowl of water (or a sinkful like me), you wash the face first, and btm last, so you don't ever contaminate any other part of the body with bum water. In any case, if you are using cotton wool to clean baby's bum, then there isn't any need or advantage in double-dipping, so water doesn't get contaminated anyway, and if using washable flannels they're usually big enough to do the whole area in one swipe. If you haven't already forked out a tenner on a bit of moulded plastic you won't ever use for anything else, its another one I wouldn't bother with tbh.
I agree - I haven't got one either! Someone asked what a top and tail bowl was so I was explaining the concept. No way I'm spending my money on this piece of cack!!! :rotfl:A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Krystaltips wrote: »Shall I pre-order the new Liverpool away shirt for hubby? He has the red one I think... Well... He has 2 red ones... Sure one of them is the current one... But he did mention getting last years away for his birthday but I had other things in mind... Only thing is the cost... Especially if I have Torres put on the back for him... Very unsure really... But he did buy me the isplodge...

Does anyone else have a really heightened sense of smell, will it go? Not had it before! I feel sick all the time when I smell something strong. My poor puppy has been banished as she smells gross to me :-(
