Right, I've done everything but take a shower, and the shower I'll do right before bed. Time to sit back and watch Tyra Banks inhabit her own little world.

Hi again all.. I nipped home cos someone on Freecycle asked me the width of the cooker and I had no idea. Mum also wanted to come and neb at the bathroom progress :) Came home to find Dad cooking my tea - Gawd, I'm spoilt! :o

Now that I've answered my emails, I've arranged for the cooker, fridge and freezer to be collected tomorrow - got nice polite requests within 45 minutes! I really need to sort getting us a fridgefreezer now to fit in the new gap in the kitchen but I doubt anyone will give one of those away! Think I'm going to check the classified ads for one for the time being, then get the one OH really wants in the August BH or Jan sales.

Got caramel shortcake for pudding tonight :D

Bob seems to have learnt a new trick.. moving so that my belt buckle and bra band move at the same time! Star jumps, maybe?!

He also keeps getting hiccups everytime I sneeze :o (not helped by my hayfever/cold!)

Anyone know what the best general offer for Mothercare is? I want some of their nursing vests but thought as they're a basic, all-the-time (not seasonal) item they won't be in sales.

I know they had a 10% off everything offer on the other week and they've got 10% off everything at the Baby Show too. Am I right in thinking they do 20% off codes occasionally too? Just thinking about getting them at the best price cos I want one in just about every colour!

I've just gotten my booking appt, which is early June - I'll be 11+4 by then, so I dread to think when my 1st scan will be! Not v happy, but what can you do. I saw the GP for the referral last week (when I was 6.5wks), so maybe that's why it's so late?

I haven't heard anything yet, which is annoying me a bit! The receptionist at surgery confirmed positive result, and just said the GP would have a look and then refer me and then i'd hear something, so sounds like not even gonna see GP first. I'm 8 weeks now, so would just be nice to know that I would be seeing someone, for something, at some point in the near future!

  • Elle - mothercare is 4% on Quidco too :D feeding vests are the best things ever - I live in mine :D

Just popped in to remind everyone who likes to keep records of things to photocopy their maternity notes if you want to keep them. Same goes for your birth / baby notes that they send home with you...one day the MW just turns up and runs off with them

I don't have any of mine and I wish I had copied them now
