That name so suits you! Bet you love saying you work at Cex! :rotfl:*giggles like a school girl*
Went to asda and unpacked it all. My back hurts now which means I'll get sore pickles tonight. I'm getting them almost constantly now but unless my back hurts they are just the painless tightenings they claim to be.
Anyone taking bets the Calire will be posting her birth story shortly??? :rolleyes:0 -
OH is doing my head in, in the ensuite boxing in the pipework. Keeps calling me up and I keep pointing out other ways of doing it. He ignores me and carries on, 2 hours later it looks rubbish and now he says 'oh I think your way was better', doh!Too many children, too little time!!!0

Well, I was actually thinking of all walls cos one has the window in it, the other one will have the cot against it, the other will have the wardrobe and changing unit against it and the other one is the same wall as door so very little wall there - it's a box room.
I have 6 canvases which I intend to paint with animals in orange, brown and greenery to break it up.
I might regret it though
When I use a strong colour I paint one wall and live with it for a few weeks, that way I can decide if it's enough or if I want more. DS wants a red wall in his room. :rolleyes:Too many children, too little time!!!0 -

Hi all..
My kitchen is empty!Amazing how many boxes we needed. Brought lots of food back to my parents so I've got to make tuna mayo pasta for our work lunches later and maybe some baking - something with oats (twinks or flapjack) and raspberry muffins with Mum.
OH has gone to help his sister with some computer work but I'd only get bored there so I'm at home again. Got to list our fridge, freezer and cooker on Freecycle - I was going to sell them, but I want them gone ASAP. Hopefully someone can come pick them up tomorrow when the builders are around.
Not sure if I'm getting a cold or if it's just my hayfever. Feels like my nose is in a vice
Hope everyone else is alright. Glam, your nursery plans sound like they're coming along well - and you're due two months after me  I'd really better get a move on!0 -
Hmm! Flapjack, off to put the oven on. XToo many children, too little time!!!0

Natures nest thoroughly played with. It's bigger than I remember but I think the lil lady will like it.
Now to pack it away again (will wash and iron it closer to the time) and then go play with cute tights and socks I got from asda. Even Dh said ahh.
And then do the kitchen and cook off some food (mince for lasagne) and decide on dinner.0 -
icklebeans - Congtratulations on the birth of the twins, William and Lewis :j
Hope everyone is well. Dh has been busy today putting up a new blackout blind in the nursery and fixing up the cot mobile etc. I have made a start on packing my hospital bag (well, just nappies and Mat pads actually, but it's a start!)
We had another mammoth shopping spree on saturday. I got lots more maternity/nursing tops as I am growing out of my prepregnancy clothes now, so I took advantage of the 30% off clothing in Mamas and Papas. And DH insisted we spend far too much on a baby bath, because it goes with the nursery colour scheme.
Also, I got some good bargains in the Asda baby event. Including cotbed sheets x2 £8 and Moses basket sheets x2 that were marked at £3, but came up £2 at the till!Value of prizes 2010 - 2017: £8374 Wins 2022: Magic set
