  • I'm not sure if I'm doing this correctly, however, here goes:

"MPs should not allowed to award pay, bonuses or expences to themselves. An independant board, group of people, should decide the MPs financial remuneration, perhaps with feedback from their constituants."

Ex-pats living in (mainly) British Commonwealth countries and drawing their UK pensions are denied cost-of-living rises awarded to everyone else. This seems completely unfair, especially as those moving away will cease to be a drain on the NHS. Please right this wrong.

All basic bank accounts should come with an electronic payment card (Visa Debit/Solo/Visa Electron). These accounts should also have online banking and telephone banking open to all regardless of status. The government intended these bank accounts to be open to all.

Basic utilities (like broadband, cable tv, telephone, fuel) should not be "subject to status" but should be pay in advance (similar to Sky)

A ban on sub-prime lenders as these tend to prey on people who realistically cannot afford the repayments.

Tighter regulation of the consumer credit market. Maximum income multipliers on mortgage lending. Maximum allowable credit based on affordability matrix. Independant advisors service available to those on low income that is funded by the banking sector. Interest rates must be displayed on all online accounts and paper statements.
Mortgage £120K, monthly overpayment £600, 18 years and £100K saved
  • Why do Telephone companies and broadband providers charge for technical support we are paying for their errors. All technical support should be free phone
  • Pensioners should not be paying tax on their pensions as they have already paid tax on the earnings that have contributed to the pension, so in fact it is double profit for the government! It is no incentive for younger people to save for retirement.
  • For serial bankruptee's who have declared themselves bankcrupt are given two chances, on the third time they have to serve time in prison. Reason is, builders can put all their assets in their partners name, declare themselves bankcrupt and get away.
  • MP's should be paid average salary of people within their constituency, this is to ensure that MP's live the same lives as the people they represent. How can a MP represent you, if he/she earns twice as much and does not use local services (e.g. schools)
