OP what are your feelings towards adult films or maybe some erotic literature? even a normal film with some rude scenes?
I know when I've not been in the mood much my OH leaves FHM or the like open on the 'girls confess' page and I eventually read it and it gets my mind back on track IYSWIM

  • I love this thread, great suggestions guys!

My 2 cents worth: In lifestyle mags they're always saying how you should make a pact for no 'getting on the bus completely' for a while. Brill analogy by the way! Hang round the shelter, but no catching it! Then what you can't have makes you want it more. Might be worth a try. :)

Get off the internet, and go and sort him out now! As someone else said, you don't have to be overenthusiastic but a bit of stroking and cuddling and all should be okay. Don't over-analyse (as I always get told, but not about nookie).

    Done lol :)

I think I just needed to get it all out and talk to someone about it, cos I was totally fine last night, so its def a work in progress but I am getting there

    Thanks guys

Yeah I am def ok with some erotic viewing lol, that actually always gets me in the mood, OH doesnt have any though, I think I might have to ask him to get some from somewhere lol, cos I do enjoy that :)

And yes he gives me loads of kisses and cuddles (we honestly cuddle at least 10 times a day, we are very touchy, cuddly, kissy people lol)

I think I just needed to get it all out and talk to someone about it all.

:D (now you just need to 'keep it up'!)
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.

    Didnt read all the posts..
First of all,no mother or father wants to hear their daughter being strumped under their own roof....end of. So a little bit of etiquteete is required!

Now that your in your own place there is almost an expectation that there are no restrictions and therefore you should be at it all the time. This may give rise to performance anxieties and whether or not either or both of you can deliver and/or meet perceived high expectations.

If i were you,i'd actually stop having sex and instead, concentrate on a lengthy period of teasing but stopping short of full sex.

After a week or so of that, you will be ready !

Orgasm releases endorphins and hormones that make you bond with your partner, so make sure you are both getting off the bus at the terminus ;)

I get like that at times and really all I need is to re form the habit.

ETA, did I just use a bus to ilistrate sex?! argh!

Adding to this, physical exercise also releases those same endorphins, and appartently those who exercise regularly have a much better sex life and higher sex drive!

    Read this:
    http://longevity.about.com/od/lifelongfitness/a/exercise_sex.htm

This is definitely true, as although I'm a retard at jogging, it certainly makes me feel more horny (!) :rotfl: Plus running/jogging is a good way of getting things off your mind that might be adding to the issues!
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Try this magazine - I've seen good reviews for it, you can get a digital version so no worries about the postie seeing what's being delivered ;)http://www.scarletmagazine.co.uk/

The exercise thing is very true too! Try going to the gym/a run together. My OH and I would always end up having another work out once we got home from the gym ;)
