  • Brians got defaults and just got ASDA / Santander?

Yea, but he's also got a lot of mainstream cards mate! Also his defaults are over 3 years and some lenders don't look beyond 3 but the subprime ones such as Crappy1 do! I'd say go for Tesco or something, even Asda - you have a better chance there than you will with Crappy1 if you have adverse data less than 3 years old. :D

Bear in mind I do hate Crappy1 with a passion and you should see the !!!!!! they write back to me (with the marcellep post in 'how to get back on the credit ladder').....

  • I was thinking, Crappy1 must approve your application and approve the C/L that they offer you on your 4th statement. I know it is not clear what I am saying lol...

But didn't you recently apply for the Zero (that guaranteed thing with the bank account)? If so that is why.... :p

I know what you mean. When they accept you and give you a limit of £100, they really want you to have £500 but retain the £400 until you've proved yourself..... :D

Noo. I just applied for the Asda credit card a few days ago. Instant decline. On the same day, I applied for the Capital One Plus.

I've not applied for any bank account for some years.

£250 for Tesco, I got told that as soon as I applied. Just waiting for Capital One's limit and APR. I'll leave it till Monday, if still nothing from Capital One, I'll give them a call.
