  • maybe , if you have a letter from the posy office send a copy to the C.R.A's - or if you have a letter from the council for the E/roll - this should be proof.

Mate what is going on with your credit file then? Are you in a new build? If so then the CRA's need to be told of the properties existence by the council and/or royal mail. I live in a new build, when I first moved in I was still a Plot #. After 4-5 months I got fed up and so rung the council who said they will notify the CRA's (via electoral register) being I was paying Council Tax! They always use the version of address stored within PAF so its best to chase Royal Mail & the Council to get your address added to the system and after this you then need to get a letter from the council to confirm you live there.

Send this to the CRA's and they'll add you manually until the next round of updates to the electoral register.

So, you contact royal mail to get added here: http://postcode.royalmail.com/portal/rm/postcodefinder?pageId=pcaf_pc_enquiry&catId=28400668

And the council will be here: http://www.aboutmyvote.co.uk/

Good luck, any further probs gimme a yell :D

If your address is not showing up then stop applying cos no1 will accept you! You have to get the address registered with the council etc (see my last post) before applying for anything! But yea the catalogue and appeal... they usually let you appeal over the phone then calm down til you've seen your credit file and confirmed existence on electoral register!

when i first moved in around 9 months ago it was not listed with post office at all so i got in touch with post office and they added it to there database, this was all done in june and they said it could take a month or 2 to filter through to companys database. im guessing now that it hasnt filtered through to the CRA. this might be the problem im having getting credit.

search for the address here: http://postcode.royalmail.com/portal/rm/addressfinder?catId=..

not a new build estate been aroung for 40 years i think. When i first moved into the address it wasnt registred with royal mail on there system it went 63 straight to 67 mine being 65. so i contacted them to get it added and it now shows on there system but they did say it could a few months to filter through to lenders and companys. As for the electoral role i was put on that in july i had a letter from them saying that i was on it from july 6th. as for CRA will they add my new address manually??? also when are the next round of updates for the CRA's
