Get rid of Limewire. You're much safer sticking to torrents. Many officals are "policing" Limewire, gathering IPs and forwarding them onto ISPS. One of my friends learned that the hard way. :rotfl:

Quick question -

Am I right in thinking I am only allowed one credit card with one company? As in, I have a Barclaycard Initial, though feel I may have a chance of getting the Goldfish card but unsure if I am eligable to apply. I'd be willing to cancel my Initial card if successful mind you.

Any ideas?

I aint heard anything from the new company taking the estate since they took over it, thus no chaeques have been sent, nothing! I sent cheques from April 2008 until December 2008, which is when the new company took over it!

You do right not sending anything in! Have a look at your credit files, send in £2 and apply in writing with your last 6yrs addresses. Go for both Equifax & Experian to be sure.....

Mate I told you earlier the only way it vanishes like that is if you've applied and been rejected, to stop you reapplying.

It usually happens (you'll love this) when they offer you an overdraft, say at account opening, and then you decline it. They will then remove the facility altogether until you can reapply (i.e. eligible - 6mths).

Therefore the reason I assume it has gone from your i/b is because you recently applied and got turned down?

No mate - your behaviour score and/or credit score preapprove with HSBC. What is your score? How long you banked with them? The offers tab is usually just sales oriented..... does yours have a CC in it or something mate?

Its changed now mate so you apply to online after you have an account as you use the account details given to register with (i.e. sort code/account number)....

Well, having just spoke to someone on Barclaycard chat, it seems I am not eligible as an existing customer.

Wish I just applied for the Goldfish card in the first place now :rolleyes:.
