If the limit is not there it means you have been declined.
There have been many people who get offered the £125 limit but when trying to order or logging back in it has unfortunately declined and revoked the limit.Bank Accounts - Barlcays Premier[/B] - £1000 o/d, HSBC - £200 o/d- First Direct - £500

When I applied to MBNA last year it was referred and I had to call , anyway they said my problem at the time was , I had a limit of £4k with next and £3k with addtions and £4k with littlewoods.
Thanks... I think paying it off and closing the account is my best option.0 -
Littlewoods are a nightmare they have made serious errors on my account.0

We are will talk talk at the moment and i said am leaving and managed to get te call package for free and the connection charged weaved so made a saving of £66
Broadband is more tricky due to where we live we cant get the low good deals but i am looking for a package with upto 8mbs speed and around 40/50gb download limit for a decent price.
Phoned sky and they 1st said best can do is £60 connection charge for new house so once again told them i want to cancel and then put thru to another team and was told best they could do is £30 connection charge for new house due to no dish etc being there. Not sure what to do about this one.0 -

Dunno if this helps but when I had Sky.. I moved and Sky wanted installation charges for my new house. I refused to pay it so I took it upon myself to install Sky on my own. Was somewhat time consuming because I had to manually find the satellite signal and aling the dish up with it, which meant running back to the TV every 2 seconds to check if there was a signal, after each slight movement of the dish.
Got there in the end. Could work if you or your partner are DIY fans. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Hi Guys
Need some advice, recently opened an Empire catalogue and given a £250 limit, just made my first payment and have a balance of £204
Just logged into my Credit Expert and there are 2 entries listed for the Account Information (reporting)
Entry C1
lists correct name address, wrong DOB just the day and month
started 11/08/09
Balance 0
and a nice shiny green (0)
Entry C2
lists correct address, correct DOB
started 12/08/09
balance £204
and a shiny green (0)
As the first entry is a clear mistake, do i say nothing as this is a free way of reporting account conduct on my bare credit file as there is a 0 balance or raise a dispute with experian?
My only concern if I applied for credit in the future it may flag a CIFAS as I have 3 accounts with my correct DOB and this mysterious one
Your help is much appreciated0 -
From the point of view of the CIFAS and getting one in future it would probably be better to get this corrected. As otherwise you could be stuck trying to get rid of both the incorrectly reporting account and the CIFAS as that will be wrong too.
I know how you feel though, I applied for a capital one card in 2000 and it got accepted then declined before I got the card. Then I got my credit report after 6 months and they had been reporting all that time with 0's so gave me a credit record to start building on.0
