Ditto on my credit file .. Contacted experian and they told me it is something to do with their computer systems and is not a problem at all, they are just are duplicate entries and would not effect any lending decisions what so ever, don't know how accurate that is though :rolleyes:0 -

They shouldn't cause too many problems it could just cause your application to refer. What will happen is that you will say you have lived it X amount of addresses in the last 3 years however on credit search it will say you have 80LINKS and they system will pick up a mismatch.
Usually this will go to an underwriter to check that you do not have any undisclosed addresses. The underwriter should use their brain and realise that these are all the same address and continue processing the app.
They may on occasion carry out an unrecorded enquiry with may show as address validation or something like that.Bank Accounts - Barlcays Premier[/B] - £1000 o/d, HSBC - £200 o/d- First Direct - £500

Yeah probably haha
The girl I spoke to was helpful though but I don't know why, I'm just not convinced. I don't like the whole format of Experian. There seems to be lots and lots of duplicate information etc.0 -

And guess what? True to form he does
Basically just send a letter in confirming that all the linked addresses are because of the way different lenders ask for and relate information provided by you. Explain that even though you know you entered the correct data on their application, they have simply mis typed the data and as such can the CRA amalgamate all entries to read the same, and use the correct version from PAF.
Experian will then link all addresses to the same version and when you see this version you always use it, exactly how Experian have done so. This way it will be right from there-on-in until that is, a lender (Natwest are the worst) misses a piece of data and enters the address with the flat number in the house number field at which point, it will then duplicate a link (3 way from current address -> Linked address -> incorrect link by natwest)...
See the vicious circle evolve again - all cos of lazyness by one person. However it will not adversely affect you but it will however mean each time you apply it will be seen by an u/w (referred) which aint always a good thing!
Hope that helps2010 - year of the troll
